Sorry these pages are so long it's just so fun to write this especially since it's my first book!
As we walked into the basement with everyone staring at us being half confused and half happy. "So uhm, I don't really know how to word this but me and uhm m-mike are.... Dating..." Max and El shouted "WHAT" as the boys shouted "HELL YEAH" "Guys, guys chill." I said as Mike and I sat down by our friends "so you guys wanna go to the pool? It isn't that late and I'm really bored." Me, Max, and El suggested, "sounds fine to me!" The boys agreed as they hopped up and started to get ready "hey Will I'm going back to the house to get my stuff" I shouted. "k!" Will shouted back.
Time skip
I got back to mikes house with my swimsuit under my jean shorts and tank top, I was wearing a two-piece orange swimsuit, Max was wearing a two piece red swimsuit, and El was in a black two piece swimsuit, meanwhile the boys wore basic swim shorts. We got to the pool and Max saw her older brother Billy "well shit" max put a hand on her forehead and she groaned, "what?" I asked to max while she was trying her best not to make eye contact with her brother "it's my brother, Billy Hargrove I hate him so much." "Oh, it will be fine just stay with me." I said trying to comfort her. Matter of fact while me and Mike were setting our stuff down we saw Karen and the rest of the moms lounging in the chairs reading magazines. We just decided to not go up to mikes mom or any of the moms actually. We all got in the water until me and Max had realized that El had never been on a water slide "what the hell dude, you haven't been on one?" Max said as she raised her eyebrows "uh no" El said "well then let's go, it'll be super fun" we start running over there as we forget that it's against the rules and then... you guessed it, Billy blew the whistle. BILLY JUST HAD TO BLOW THE DAMN WHISTLE in that moment I felt bad for max because if he finds out that she was with Lucas and us she's going to be in big trouble, because for some reason Billy hates Lucas's guts so we just slowed our run into a fast walk hoping that he didn't notice max. We decided to forget that situation to make max feel a little bit less panicked "So Max, which slide should we go on with El?" "Uhm I thinkkkk... the tornado!" "Oh my god yayy" I shouted, as we walked up the steps in line, me and max kept looking at each other excitingly and then turning our gaze onto El who look super excited then the lifeguard says, next! And then we get the three person float and then we start going down. Me and max had our hands in the air while screaming as el was gripping onto the handles as she was laughing harder than she had probably ever laughed before. In my head I was just thinking about how good of friends I have made already. Then it's the end of the slide and we fall in the water as El jumps back up onto the steps, "that was the best thing ever!! Thank you guys so much!" El said while hugging us "it's no problem El, us girls love to have fun!" Max said as I agreed with her. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder I jumped and then turned and then I saw Mike "oh thank god, i thought you were someone else." Mike just chuckled and said, "Well I wanted to know if you wanted to ride the space twister "I will literally die.. let's do it!
Me and Mike got on the space twister as it was so trippy and cool but I was screaming my head off, as Mike was laughing at my scared face I hit him and said, "shut up, you scream like a girl" I say and we almost reach the end we stick our middle fingers up at each other as we land in the water. This was the best day of my life, I could never ask for a better summer or could I?
