More Than a Feeling - Boston
Today the whole club including me went to the new mall in Hawkins called Starcourt Mall it was very colorful as teenage girls walked all over the stores talking and laughing while some upbeat 80s music played, the first place that caught mine, El's, and Max's eyes was The Gap. We said our goodbyes to the boys and ran over squealing as we see a new pair of jeans that were limited edition. We all had 50 dollars that we saved up, in my head I was thinking, "so that's why Will told me to bring money..." I think stupidly as we look at the size chart and grab everything in style in our hands and then we tried everything on having a whole entire fashion show. We walk out of the gap as we walk into Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Parlor I see my old friend Robin Buckley there as I greeted her excitedly, then we saw her friend Steve Harrington and I asked, "Who's this robin..?" I say flirtatiously trying to piss her off "it's my friend, Steve Harrington dingus" she said as she rolled her eyes and smiled, "ohh okayy" I say as I winked at her as she scoffs and changes the subject, "anyways what do you guys want?" "I'll take a small vanilla sundae" I say confidently "I'll take this with... that please." El said "And I'll take a chocolate cone please" max said "Okay one vanilla sundae, a vanilla cone with sprinkles, and a chocolate cone, coming right up!" Steve says and stupidly flipping his scoop in his hand. We go to sit down and talk about Hawkins.
Meanwhile Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will are walking around the mall talking about basic boy stuff, "so Will, about Y/N" Mike said while scratching the back of his neck "what about her?" Will asks innocently, " I think I might.. you know... like her...?" "WHAT!?" the three boys shouted while Mike shushes them, "Don't. You. Dare. Say. One. Word, any of you!" "Okay" the boys said "but basically the reason I brought that up was because I wanted to get something for her, something so she can remember me." Mike said as if it was her last day " dude, she's literally gonna be here all summer, what's the rush?" Will asks "I just wanna date her before she leaves to go back to her hometown.." Mike says looking down at the ground "good luck with that dude, she plays hard to get, but I don't know she might like you back." Will says as he shrugs his shoulders.
We all met up at the main entrance by the escalators and we get on our bike and ride to Mike's house, when we got there we got pizza and drinks. "Hey Mike, do you mind if me and the girls do our hair in the bathroom real quick?" "U-uh..yeah sure, yeah!" "Okay thank you so much!" Me and max said as us three walked in and as we were curling our hair, taking turns with the hair tools, I start to have a feeling that I have to confess my feelings about Mike to the girls. "Hey guys... umm so I think I like mike." I said nervously as my face turns bright red. The girls were speechless as they stared at me in shock. "Uhhhmm okay..." I say as I look back in the mirror ignoring what just happened, I walk out of the bathroom as mike says, "hey Y/N do you mind if we talk for a second?" "Of course!" I say walking upstairs into the living room. Since we both had something's to get off of our chest to each other I started speaking until Mike spoke at the same time "I like you" as we smiled at each other and stared into each other's eyes we kissed for a slight second as both of us were nervous as I ran to the bathroom "excuse me for a second." I ran inside, closed the door quietly and whisper/yelled, not words, but just whisper/yelled. Little did I know, Mike was standing right outside of the door as he knocked and said, "hey Y/N, you alright?" He asked protectively and calmly, "yep, yeah just fine!" I said stupidly making it obvious I was so excited to start dating him. I stepped out of the door and he grabs my hand and we walk back into the basement as we both have wide smiles on our faces "well you guys look happy" Dustin says while Max rolls her eyes
