Revenge

Today was the day I was going to get my revenge. It was about 1:00 pm when I woke up because I stayed up all night listening to sad songs on repeat on my Walkman. I got up to walk to the kitchen and I didn't see Will anywhere in the house, until I heard shouting coming from the garage, it sounded like... Will and- MIKE!?!? All I could hear was muffled fighting and what sounded of Mike saying "I didn't mean to do it though Will, it was a mistake.."
"but you still did it, mike" Will said as his voice got shaky, almost as if he was in my shoes. "Just go, she's one of my favorite people in the world and she has such a kind soul! good job." Will scoffed as the rain and thunder was almost louder then when they shouted at each other "Fine, just tell Y/N I said hi, please." Mike said as he grabbed his bike and rode away, Will rolled his eyes in response and walked back in just to see Y/N standing by the door. "Y/N, did you.. hear everything?" Will mumbled "Just a little" I said "thank you." I say as I get teary-eyed and hugged him we smiled at each other and walked into the kitchen to watch tv and see what's new on MTV.

I hear the phone ringing in the guest bedroom "shit" I whispered under my breath, I must've missed Max's calls. I run to the room and answer the phone and say, "Hey!" "Hello Y/N, it's Jim Hopper, sorry for the call because it's out of the blue, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry about what happened between you and Mike, you are the sweetest girl in the town and you don't deserve that kind of betrayal towards you." Hopper says understandably. "Thank you Hopper, I really appreciate it. Oh and before I forget can you tell El I said hi?" "Of course" Hopper said "alright bye now" I say as I lie the phone down. About 5 minutes later I get another call, "Helloooo" I say loudly hoping and praying that it's Max, "hi." A voice said calmly and softly, but their voice being a little raspy at the same time, "uhh who is this?" I say in confusion "it's um.. it's Mike" he said sounding very sad "oh, well what do you want" my voice started cracking by having flashbacks of the terrible moment. " I just wanted to say I'm sorry and it was a terrible mistake to let you go because the whole reason it happened was because you weren't really talking to me much, but you were hanging out with Max and El a lot... so I did it and I regret it.." Mike said very fast "Mike.. I love you so much but I don't think it will be this quick for me to forgive you." "Okay... well I'm sorry again, goodbye" Mike said as he slammed the phone down and started cursing under his breath as he rubbed his eyes.

I checked my watch as it hit 10:30 pm, the revenge time, Max rode her bike over here and we found the girls location, thanks to Dustin. I knocked on the door and she answered, she had a shocked look on her face as I grabbed her hand and dragged her outside, "so tell me bitch, how long have you known Mike? I said as I was getting ready to slap her "a-a few weeks." She said nervously "and did you know that I was dating him at the time?" I asked calmly but sassily "yes..."she whispered "huh, what did you say!?" I shouted at her "yes!! I did okay?" I looked at her as she decided to go for the first punch as her knuckles hit the top right of my forehead, Max gasped and I started laughing which made the girl back away slowly "so.. what made you do it..?" I said looking at her "i don't..know." she said while trying to punch me again but this time in the stomach "Well I'm gonna show you not to mess with girls like me, I may be 'sweet' , but ohhh can I be way more than that" I said. I slapped her and kicked her in the ankle so she fell to the ground as Melanie tried to get up and pull me down by my hair, I slowly turned around and yanked her arm off of me, then pushing her to the ground, "stupid whore" me and Max said as we left the area.

Time skip to the next day

I decide to ride over to Mikes house to have a talk with him until through the window I saw Mike and Hopper discussing the problem to each other, until Mike's anger got the best of him, he started punching Hopper in the stomach while saying "I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to, I DIDNT ME-" he breathed heavily to catch his breath as Hopper hugs him and comforts him while he was in so much pain.

I decided to wait a few hours before returning back to the Wheelers residence just to make sure Hopper was gone, it was around the time I was going to leave. I knocked on mikes bedroom window signaling him to open it, as his face was red from how many times he'd been crying. "Hey mike, how are you doing?" I asked as I sat on his bed trying to get him to look in my eyes and stop him from crying. "I'm sorry Y/N, that's all I have to say.." Mike said while swallowing the lump in his throat "I know, trust me, I know" I say while putting my hand on his cheek. "I'm sorry for you too Mike" I said calmly looking at him. We talked for awhile about how he regrets doing that with Melanie.

Until a smile formed on my face as I realized how he was a really forgiving and understanding person, but he can be an asshole most of the time

That's when I realized that how love is, but our love was different. It had toxic times, and it had sweet times, no matter how many times I will say I love him, I will never forget that moment. I will never forgive him for that, it was all his fault.
