It had been about two weeks since Natsu woke up in the forest with Happy. He was so glad that at least one other person was going through the same thing as he was. He couldn't even imagine meeting up with his old friends again after watching them die in front of him and the fact that they would have no memory of any of it, including him, didn't help.

On their first day after waking up, they discovered that their Fairy Tail marks were gone, and that they were no longer part of the guild. So here they were, traveling back to the place they spent their previous childhood. (I think that made since, lol, hopefully you know what I meant by that) Currently, they were in the capital city of Crocus. They decided to stay in a hotel with the small amount of money they had found in their pockets so that they could regain some of their energy, physically and magically.

For Natsu, he had just used up almost all of his magical energy on that one spell. It wasn't even his type of magic, nor was he trained to use time magic, so he ended up using far more magical energy than a Time Mage would have.

And Happy wasn't so great either. The last thing he remembers is pitch black, death. Then he suddenly awoke to find himself in a forest lying next to his long time partner, Natsu. He was still extremely weak and had almost all of his magical energy taken away. When Natsu told him about everyone's death, he was heartbroken. Being told that all of his friend had died was tough and finding out about Lucy's death had been the worst. She had became like a mother to him, and finding out that she was dead was horrible.

They were both pretty heartbroken, but they had hope. They would get to become friends with all of them again, and protect them.

When the duo made it to the train station they were completely exhausted. If they knew that the hotel they stayed at would be so far away from the station they would've chosen a different one. But it was too late now.

Staring up at the huge train station, Natsu immediately felt nauseous. The only thing that could ever seem to calm him down was Lucy, and since she wasn't here, he would have to do without. Slowly, he made his way to the ticket booth with Happy flying behind, trying not to get lost. Sure, they had been to Crocus before, but it was a lot different now. The more modern styled buildings were more homey looking and it was less grand looking, that is except for the castle, which was exactly the same.

Coming to a stop, they were face to face with a dark haired man, one of the workers.

"Hello, sir. Where would you like a ticket to, and how many?" He seemed as if he had repeated the same line for years, and Natsu guessed that he had. The capital was a very busy place, with busy people. There was no time to waste.

"Two tickets to Magnolia, please." Happy chimed in, knowing that Natsu wasn't capable of speech at the moment.

The man looked hesitant at first, who wouldn't be? A flying, blue cat just talked to you. But he eventually regained his composure seeing how close the two were. Natsu dug in his pockets, fished out the correct amount of Jewels, and handed them over to his flying blue companion. Happy then gave the middle aged worker the money and waited. The man eyed the two skeptically before counting the money and handing them the tickets.

The train ride was long and tiresome, but they journeyed on. Making sure that their friends were okay was their top priority. It was much more important than some stupid motion sickness.

Short, I know. The next chapter should be longer because he'll be in Magnolia, yay!! They never really show how he first met Erza and everyone else (at least I don't think they do), they only showed how him meting gray and maybe Lisanna (idk) so this is gonna be good. *insert evil laughter here*

Please tell me your thoughts about this story. I have high hopes for it and will defiantly be continuing. I feel like my other stories are getting worse and worse every chapter, but I do plan on continuing them too. I just think I will be updating this story more frequently.
