Back in Time

Chapter 8

When Lucy and Gajeel stopped hugging, Gajeel looked at her and smirked. "You know, that bunny costume would look 10x hotter on you now." Lucy's face turned beet red.

"I see you haven't changed, still perverted as ever." She scoffed.

"Hey, but I'm still your best friend." He said while ruffling her hair, much to the blonde's annoyance.

"Whatever." She mumbled while walking away to chat with some other friends. She could faintly hear Gajeel's famous 'Gihi' in the distance. Still hasn't changed...

Before she could find Erza, she bumped into a pink haired boy she hadn't seen before, "Are you knew?" She tried sounding uninterested, but something about this boy drew her to him.

The boy met her eyes and panicked, Oh gosh, I gotta make a good first impression, this is your mate after all, nothing to be nervous about...right?

"Y-Yeah...er...hi." Wow nice going, she probably thinks I'm some kind of dork now.

"Hey, I'm Lucy it's nice to meet you!" She says with a bright smile, making Natsu blush. But it also made him remember when they met in Hargeon, she said the same exact words.

"I'm Natsu, nice to meet you too." He mumbled back. Wait! Mumble?! Since when did Natsu Dragneel get nervous!? What's wrong with me?!?!

While the blonde beauty walked off to continue searching for her red haired friend, Gray approached Natsu. "So, you got a thing for Lucy, huh?" Gray commented with a smirk.

"Huh? W-what are you talking about." Natsu stuttered, his face redder than Erza's hair.

"Oh, nothing." He replies, walking away while whistling. It was clear to Gray that Natsu was lying, but matchmaking wasn't his job, he would leave that to Mira.

His thoughts were interrupted by an obsessive blue haired water mage violently latching onto his arm. She was going off about a new Love-Rival, much to the raven haired teen's annoyance.

Meanwhile, Natsu was wondering how the two even ended up getting married...

Short, I know. But you all were asking me to update so I just had to. I also have a good amount of homework tonight, so I don't have a lot of time to write. I'm thinking of writing a lot during SOL week but not posting, then posting a bunch after. So if you don't see a lot of updates for about a week, that's why. Thanks for reading!
