"So I'm just another stolen relic?!"
"You could never have a Frost Giant sitting on the throne of Asgard!"
I wake up on the floor. Thankfully the visions are getting less painful, although my head is pounding faster than my heart.
I can't seem to remember the vision. What a useless power.
My legs wobble as I get up from the cold hard ground and crawl onto Loki's bed. I lay on my back and stair at the darkness of the ceiling. I haven't slept long have I?
At least I feel well rested.
I smile and I hear footsteps from outside, I jump off the bed and go see if Loki has returned.
My palms fill with sweat as I turn the nob. The door opens hard and hit nearly hits my face but it knocks me over. Now I'm back on the ground.
"Loki?!" I shout as I angerly get up from the ground almost falling over again.
"Thor was banished." Loki looks much worse from when I last seen him.
We stand in utter silence. I am completely speechless.
"There is no need to be surprised." Loki hisses. "No complete reason to be sad. It was coming for him anyway. Asgard would burn if he was king."
He sounds insane.
"You need-"
"What I need is to speak with Odin! You can't tell me what I need. You have no idea who I am!" He stares at his arm and clenches his fist before leaving the room.
I sigh and leave his quarters and head for the Valkyrie chambers.
_________________________________________
It's been nearly a day since Thor was banished, a few hours after he was banished the Allfather has fallen into an Odinsleep and Loki is now king of Asgard.
I've been too afraid to see Loki. He's not at all the man I fell in love with...
"Don't these roses smell divine to you?" Loki smiles while stuffing a bouquet he picked from the garden and rearranged in a beautiful manner.
"Yes, Midgardian plants are amazing." I say as I take the bouquet of red roses and also a little kiss from the loving prince.
All we've been doing all afternoon was sitting around in the different realm gardening houses. Each greenhouse were full of plants from each realm. We are currently in our favourite house, Midgard.
"You have such pretty eyes, my love." Loki whispers as he looks from a tree towards me.
"My eyes are insignificant compared to yours, Loki."
Like a cave of green diamonds...
Oh hel, reminiscing will not hange anything or make me feel better in any way.
Loki is becoming more distant by the second, I wish I knew why. No it cannot be because of Thor's banishment, it's something else, something worse... Much worse.
The garden isn't as full as it would usually be. I could possibly be the only one. But it's not Loki's fault, there has been a lot of change since Loki was pronounced Allfather within a day. He could make a great king if the citizens wouldn't mourn over Thor's banishment and the odinsleep the allfather is in.
He could sleep forever. But if he stays asleep, regaining power, I fear Asgard will never be the same.
A mans' silhouette catches the corner of my eye. I turn toward the figure and there stands Loki, gazing across the garden. More pale than I've seen him, even when he caught the flu.
Loki seems like he is waiting for something. I can see the anxiety in his big green eyes.
I stood there watching as he was panting ever so slightly and pacing in anxiety.
I feel some sweat trickle down my cheek. It flows over my lips and I get a taste. This isn't sweat, it's tears.
I giggle at my stupidity, sadly catching Loki's attention.
As I looked on at the cold stare of my love, my heart sinks down to the lowest point. The breaking point, I give him a slight frown.
Was I wrong to have trusted him. Did I see what I wanted, what wasn't true from the start?
It's quite amazing how much I still love him after all the pain he is continuing to cause me. I'm such a fool for this man.
Loki starts his way towards me. My heart races.
"Not any closer, Loki." I can't bare to be near him right now.
"That is not how you speak to your king." He says blankly.
"What has happened to you? Please tell me. I know you were jealous of Thor. But you weren't depressed like this about it. You respect your father and his wishes-"
"He's not my father!" He shouts and I swear his eyes went for a second. The fear paralyses my legs and I fall to the hard ground.
To my surprise he leaves me and walks swiftly back to the throne room. Without saying anything else.
Not his father? Is that what is bothering him? It must be.
I head for the kings sleeping chambers in hopes that Frigga is there.
Goodbye.
