When we make it to the dining room, Deveah and I are one of the last to take a seat. But we aren't so lucky to get seats next to eachother. Deveah sits at the end of the table while I am at the other end.
By the time everyone is settled down, I realize the seat next to me is empty. Who else should there be?
The food arrives and everyone cheers for the appetites that will soon be accomplished.
I fill up my plate until I can't see it. I stare at the delicious Asgardian and prepare to demolish every last bit of it. I place a handkercheif on my lap and start eating very unlady like.
"Hello, Sigyn. Hungry today, aren't we?" A man laughs from beside me, I wipe my mouth with the back of my hand and he takes the empty seat.
I try talk but my mouth is still full. I blush and swallow everything all at once.
I look next to me to see, the hinderance to my emotions. Loki. Why is he even here? He's not training. He gets individual training by the highest.
I decide not to speak to him. He'll only make me more bashful because the damned boy seen me fall on the ground not once but twice and he just witnessed me in my most vogur state, hungry and surrounded by food.
I continue eaying but slower than I normally would to avoid more embarassment.
"You don't have to settle down for me." Loki says in a utterly sexy tone.
I ignore him and pour myself more wine than I need. But for heaven's sake I cannot stay sane around him. Wine always does the trick for anything.
"Are you as scared around me as I am for?" He whispers into my ear, oddly close. I jerk my head away and look at him like he read my mind. Perhaps he did.
"I don't know. Maybe it's just the thought that you could punish me in anyway at any time you please kind of frightens me." I bite my lip, deeply intimidated by his gaze.
"Ehehehe, it doesn't work like that. You seem like the kind of girl that would believe in dragons." He laughs and takes a large gulp of his sparkling juice.
"Dragons do exsist. Why would you try crush my most wonderous fantasies?" I raise my eyebrows.
"What other type of fantasies do you have?" He smiles his famous smile and he has is full attention on me.
"I never knew the prince of Asgard would have such thoughts." We laugh together and I feel everyone's eyes on us. But I don't care, I've broken through the barrier with Loki.
The rest of the lunch hour we talk about everything that comes to mind. From books to music to climbing trees to old childhood memories.
We are the last ones to be in the hall, even the servants have left.
"I haven't ignored food to talk to someone for so long before." I laugh nervously.
"That makes me feel oddly special." Loki takes my hand and kisses it, "Until next time."
He gets up and walks away but doesn't look back to me.
He is moving a rather slow pace. What an obvious hint. I let him walk and suppress my laughter.
Before he exits we exchange looks and the last I see is his grin.
I huff as I jog towards him.

I cast an illusion of myself and hide around a corner.
I hear her call out my name and I motion the illusion to her.
"Oh, there you are. I thought you really ditched me." She chuckles and bites her lip. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I purse my lips together and i make my spell step closer to her, slowly as I can.
"Loki?"
It's time for some more fun.
With a wave of my hand more clones of myself appear around her. She shrieks and tenses up.
"Now, which one of you is Loki?" She steps to one illusion pokes him and it vanishes. "I want the real Loki!"
Her words shock me. I lose concentration and all my apparitions disappear. I step out of the shadow's and she smiles in relief.
"There you are." She touches my arm to make sure.
Such a curious and innocent mind. I would do anything for her to stay like this all her life. But some people change in the most drastic ways. I'd give my soul for this girl, even after only an hour of non-stop chatting.
"Here I am."
