[FBSOD] Grindeldore's Date (Part 29)

This is based on the scene from Fantastic Beasts and The Secrets of Dumbledore where Grindelwald and Dumbledore meet. FYI, I haven't watched the movie (cause why would I) so sorry if it doesn't line up with the real scene. I am also writing this as if it's Johnny Depp's GG too rather than Mads.

Albus sat down and reordered what decorations of the table. He moved the menu and condiments to the left side edge of the table so they were out of the way and he set down a little black notebook onto the table to doodle while he waited for his guest to arrive. 

It didn't take long for his guest to walk out of the elevator and towards him. The man was tall and blonde and strutted straight up to the table. "Is this seat taken?" He breathed. Albus looked up from the notebook and lifted his eyebrows a little then looked quickly at the empty seat then back to Grindelwald. Grindelwald took that as a no and sat down.

"Tea?" Albus asked.

"Only if you make it for me, Albus."

Albus gave a fake smile. He raised his right hand and did a finger snap a couple of times to get the attention of a waitress. Soon later, a lady appeared and asked what they wanted to order.

"Two teas please." Albus said. Keeping his eyes firmly on Grindelwald.

"With milk?"

"Yes, miss."

"Any sugars?"

"Two for me please." Grindelwald spoke up, still staring at Albus, "Albus is too sweet to need any in his tea."

Albus couldn't help be laugh a little. "That'll be all, miss."

"I'll bring it to you soon." The waitress said then left.

Grindelwald glanced down at Albus' notebook. "Glad to see you still have it."

"Hmm."

Grindelwald pulled the book towards him and flipped the pages so he could see the front cover. "The Hallows. I believe that was my depiction of it."

"Hmm."

"Here are your drinks, Misters. This is your tea with milk, sir. This is your tea with two sugars, sir. Can I get you anything else?"

"No." Albus replied. "Thank you."

"Let me know if you change your mind. Let me know when you want your bill too." She walked away and Grindelwald watched her. He only stared because he knew it would make Albus jealous.

"Hmm, look at her butt. Damn she's smoking."

Albus looked back at the girl that was walking away. "Don't lie to yourself, Gellert. We all know who's butt you prefer." Albus stirred his tea and pouted. "Give me my notebook back." Albus snatched it back and laid it carefully on the seat next to him.

"What do you write in there anyway? I doubt you write what we used to write about in it back in the day."

"I write ideas, lists, how much I can't stand your new hairstyle."

"My hair is flawless and perfect. I blow dried it just so you could see it in all of it's glory. Yours is worse than I remember it, your hairline is receding."





"Anyway, want to know why I invited you here, Gellert."

"Because you're still ever so deeply in love with me you can no longer live without my beautiful face in your life any longer?"

He faked a smile again, "No, I want you to leave me, Hogwarts and my friends alone."

"Friends? I thought I was your one and only friend, Albus."

"Very funny. Leave us all alone."

"Give me their names and I'll consider leaving them alone."

"You know who I mean. Newt, Jacob, Theseus and Bunty."

"Hmm, no. They are getting in Credence and I's way."

"LEAVE THEM ALONE, GELLERT! And give Queenie back."

"She joined me freely and I'll keep her freely." *BONG BONG BONG* The big grandfather clock bonged "Looks like it's lunch time, I best be off. See you later." Grindelwald got up, but lingered near the table. "Bye bye sweetheart." He grabbed Albus' right hand and kissed his knuckles. "Tell your friends; Newt, Jacob, Theseus, and Bunty I said hello. Adiós Albus." Grindelwald turned around and went back into the elevator. He waved goodbye again before the doors closed.

"What an idiot." Albus thought then sipped his tea.
