There was one man, Hemione Granger missed once she left Hogwarts when she was 18. A teacher actually, and no, it wasn't Albus Dumbledore. It was a man that went by the name of Severus Snape. Her feeling for him only grew after she obtained her Potions O.W.L.S results as she knew that the only way she'd pass would be if Snape did something to change her results herself as Potions was her least liked subject so she never went to it.

During the first week back home after school finished, Snape sent her an owl that explained it all too her... it went a little like this;

Dear Hermione Granger,

I am writing to inform you that I have found the last 7 years very much enjoyable as I got to teach you for Potions during that time (even though you ditched the final year lessons to go off galivanting with Harry and Ron). I was told by Professor Flitwick that you'd expressed you'd like to become a teacher here at Hogwarts someday so take this letter as a clear sign that you will indeed do that, I'll make sure of it. Please may I have you permission to invite you back on the 1st of September? Please reply, my dear.

Yours, Severus Snape.

Hermione kept re reading the letter as if she didn't believe Snape could be so kind. She quickly wrote a reply back and agreed to meet him on the 1st of September.

Every night that passed was a day closer to September 1st which made her heart flutter more than usual when she though of Snape. 'Imagine me working with Snape of all people. I can't imagine Harry and Ron's reaction' She laid in bed thinking. 'Let's not tell them...'

The 1st of September arrived soon enough and Hermione could barely contain her excitement. She had got up early, worked out, had a shower and made herself some cereal for breakfast. Once she did that she put on a black skirt, black blazer jacket and a white shirt. She went right to Kings Cross station, carefully went through the wall between Platforms 9 and 10 and navigated her way across the busy Platform 9 & 3/4s which was heavily populated by new first years. She got fast tracked from the platform all the way to Hogwarts as Snape had apparently had words with the train driver and gave him a portkey so she could arrive before the students.

Hogwarts was obviously empty when she arrived as no students were around. She went down to the Slytherin Dungeons to see Snape, he was in his office. Hermione knocked on his door and she entered once he allowed her too.

"Come in, Miss Granger." He said ever so slowly. She came in and stood by the door. "Come in and close the door." As if by magic the door closed behind her and a chair pulled itself out on her side of Snape's desk. Hermione sat in it. "Thank you for coming." He said. "Do you still want a job here, Miss Granger?"

"Yes, Professor Snape. I'd do anything for a job." She tried her best to look him in the eyes, but couldn't seem to hold his gaze. His eyes were drank and glossy.

"Anything, really?"

"Yes, Professor." As she said this, Snape got up and walked over to her. He then sat on his desk facing her, as he walked closer she pulled her chair out with her feet. The desks height was above the chairs height so she now had to look up to see him.

"Stand up, Miss Granger." Hermione did as she was told. She was now stood at about Snape's height as he remained sat on the desk with his legs above the ground. "I know your truth, Hermione." It was weird for Hermione to hear that as Snape rarely said her first name.

"My truth?"

"I know your thoughts, I'm sure Harry told you I could do that."

Hermione cursed herself inside her head. How could she be so silly to forget that he could read minds. "Oh..."

He stood up and bent his knees a little so they were a similar height. "Do you have anything you have to say to me?"

She shook her head frantically. "I erm... no."

"Not at all? I would know if you were lying."

"No... only that I'm glad to be back here again."

"And?"

"And I like you... you were my favourite teacher and I really do regret leaving with Ron and Harry in the final year to find those silly Horcruxes... I wish I stayed and continued to learn."

"I wish you stayed too."

"I'm just really glad to be back, Professor."

"Call me Sev."

"Sev?"

"Lily used to call me Sev..."

"I bet you miss her a lot now Harry has gone..."

"Hmm, less time to dwell on the past and more time to dwell on you-"

"What?" She didn't realise it immediately, but he said 'you'. "Why me?"

"I reckon you're my future, Hermione."

He said her name again. She knew she needed to be careful about what she was thinking now, but she really did love it when he said her first name. He made her feel all melty inside.

"Really?"

"Hmm. Let's create the future right now, shall we?"

Before she could nod or say yes, the kiss had already engulfed her. The kiss started quickly. Snape clearly didn't want to mess around anymore, he had what he wanted and he wasn't about to let her go. He grabbed her thigh with his left hand and with his right he grabbed her neck. The kiss was the most passionate thing ever, way more passionate than her kiss with Ron a few months ago. She loved this feeling, this really was only her second kiss ever, but even she knew this would be one she'd crave forever. It lasted ages, so long that her legs got tired of standing. Snape obviously knew so he pulled her closer, sat back down on the desk and she sat on his knees. Hermione loved the way Snape's lips felt on hers and how his hands touched her clothes and skin. He was so gentle towards her now as if the only thing ever holding him back was Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Unfortunately for them, There was a knock on Snape's office door so they had to separate. Both of them frowned and while Snape answered the door, Hermione stood in the corner of the room looking innocent.

"Yes?" Snape said.

It was Filch. He wanted something random from him, but Snape explained he was took tangled up with paperwork to help. "Ask McGonagall instead."

Filch grumbled then agreed then left.

Snape closed the door and stared at Hermione. He looked her up and down and strutted towards her. Their lips touched again and so did their tongues. He separated himself from her mouth a little bit and kissed her other places, in-between kisses he said things to her, "I love you, you've got the job, don't worry."

"Hmm..." She replied. "Yes, Sev."

"Want to take this further?"

Hermione stopped enjoying herself. "Further?"

"Yeah... we don't have to-"

"Yes, but not today, Sev."

"Ok, darling. Let's kiss more."

"Hmm, I'd love to."
