This is going to be a short story involving a girl named Georgina Catriona and Captain Jack Sparrow.
"Bye, darling..." Georgina's father kissed his daughter goodbye before leaving for work. Her father was a solider.
"Bye, dad." Georgina replied and kissed him on the cheek to say goodbye.
Her father left for work and as Georgina got up and waved goodbye from the window and watched as he walked down the street and away, Georgina spotted a very ominous object coming into view in the distant walls of the town she lived in.
Georgina Catriona, known as either G or GG by friends, questioned what she saw with her mother.
"Mother, what is that?"
G's mother joined her daughter at the window and stared blankly at the large wooden shape with big dark sails.
"It looks like a- oh no, it can't be-"
"What is it, mother?"
"I'm afraid it might be a p-"
"A what?"
G's mother looked petrified at the thought of this ship, and it's inhibitors, invading the quiet town her family lived in, "A pirate ship!" She looked like she could faint.
"Mother? Pirates aren't real." G helped her mother to the sofa and held her hand. "Mother, this can't be true. Pirates don't exist in real life, only in stories."
"GG, pirates ARE real, but they are really rare. Your father has been telling me for weeks that there might be an invasion... I didn't believe him... now it seems to be true- I don't know what to tell you, G."
"But, mother, you must be joking. Father wouldn't know if pirates were coming, would he?"
"He is in the army, he protects this town every day. He risks his life for the safety of our home. He knew this day would come, but nobody expected it to be today."
"But, mother, pirates are not real!"
"They are, dear and it seems like today is the day we'll get invaded by them."

Gina didn't know what to do. She tried her hardest to keep doing her usual work, but her mind kept getting distracted by the though of real pirates being in the same town she grew up in. Like real pirates! Like the types you heard about in story books or cartoons. When G finished up her house work, which was washing the clothes and picking up the local children and taking them to school, G went home and got to work with something different, educational work.
Georgina left school when she was 13, but her mother wanted her to stay educated while at home, so most days G would find herself reading story books to keep her mind occupied even though most stories were too immature for her age (she was now 18). Since the invasion of the pirates, G picked books that reminded her the most of pirates. Today she checked her bookshelf and picked one of her all time favourites, 'Peter and Wendy'. This was a very well known childhood book that G read when she was as young as 5 years old.
Georgina picked up the book from it's place on the shelf and took it away with her to the dining room. The tiny house didn't have many places for the family to do anything in. They had a tiny front door which was so short that her parents had to bend down when they walked through it. The kitchen only fitted a table to prepare food on and a fire pit on the floor to cook meat on. The dining room was basically a small room which housed a table and three tiny chairs. The room was a tight squeeze but at meal times every fitted inside. The living room was nearly as tiny as the other two rooms except it fitted a three seater sofa in it and a tiny coffee table which had candles laying on it for the family to use when the sun went down every evening. Upstairs there was one one bedroom with two beds in it. A small double bed for Mr and Mrs Catriona to sleep in and above them a bunk bed for G to sleep in. It was poor and simple, but to the Catriona family, this was simply home.
