Gentleman Johnny (Part 2)

A Johnny Depp short story.

*Crash*

You fell to the floor and the stack of papers you were holding fell all over the floor in the corridor. Your face went red then you scrambled to pick up your fallen papers just as-

"Excuse me?" A tall man said. He bent down to kneel on the floor then helped you pick your fallen papers up ."I was only passing by and I knocked into you, I'm sorry."

"It's fine." You finished picking them up then Johnny passed you the ones he was holding, you both stood upright again.

"I'm John, Johnny." He said with his hand outstretched.

You shook it and blushed again. "Hiya."

"What brings you to the library?"

"I had to print a few things off for college, what about you? Not to be rude but you seem a little too old to be doing school work." You said with a laugh.

Johnny was clearly well into his 50s and definitely didn't look like he was studying.

He wiped his hair from his ears and tucked it behind his ear. "I am- aha- just returning some old books."

"Nice. Anyway, thanks for helping me pick my papers up."

"No worries, want me to walk you to your car?"

"Sure, thanks Johnny."

Johnny accompanied you to the front door of the library and opened it and let you through. "Thanks."

"No worries."

He then walked with you to your little car. You clicked the button on your car keys and the car unlocked itself. Johnny rushed forward and opened the passenger side door for you so you could put your papers inside.

"Thank you again." You told him then shut the door. Johnny was already on the drivers side holding your door open.

You walked around the car and got inside. Once you were in you shut the door and winded the window down. "Thank you, Johnny, You're a real gentleman."

Johnny blushed a little. "Well, it's the least I could do considering how I knocked you over just now."

You smiled at him and he smiled back. "Thank you again anyway. Wait, you look like someone."

"Who?" Johnny questioned. He didn't want to make it obvious. "Anyways I better get going now. Nice meeting you."

"Hmm." Johnny walked away while you wondered where you recognised him from. "Hmm, I'm sure he looks like someone I've seen before..."
