(A/N: okay so this whole chapter is basically fluff and slight smut between Andrew and Dylan, obviously, so if you don't want to read you can just skip this chapter. Also, I don't think it's very good, but I'll let you guys decide that. And I don't write chapters like this very often, it's rare. So don't expect too many smut chapters later on. It's only when the mood strikes me. So I'll die of embarrassment like Andrew and hope you guys enjoy it.)

📚Andrew📚

I sit in one of the chairs listening to the laughter of the kids as they splash around in the pool. Today was particularly hot so Dad agreed to a leisure day where we basically just play around in the pool to cool off. I'm wearing nothing, but swim trunks and it's still pretty stifling. I think the temperature is probably in the 90s.

I sigh and wipe some sweat from my brow, trying not to think about what happened last night. I made it back to the lodge and threw all my bloody clothes in the trash so my dad wouldn't find them. I brought plenty of clean clothes it's just a matter of keeping them that way from now on.

Haven't really been in the best mood and this heat isn't making me feel any better. Kaitlyn, Abi, and Emma are in the pool with the kids. Abigail seemed to be teaching Izzy, a young blonde girl with twin ponytails, how to swim. While Emma and Kaitlyn seem to be having a splash match with another group of children.

A loud splash catches my attention and I look over, afraid maybe a kid fell in or is drowning. I let myself relax when I see Nick pop up with a kid on his shoulders while Jacob, who also has a kid on his shoulders, starts laughing. I realize they must be having a chicken fight. My theory is confirmed when the kids beginning pushing at each other, trying to knock the other off the "grown ups" shoulders.

I smile in amusement and glance around the pool again, spotting Ryan chilling with Caleb and Kaylee who stopped by to chat with Dad. Guess they decided to hang around, but I don't see my dad anywhere. I gasp rushes from my lips when something cold and wet is pressed against the skin of my neck. The sudden drop in temperature on my hot skin made me shout and jerk away.

I whip around and find Dylan with a mischievous grin, holding a melting ice cube between his fingers. "Mother Teresa! That was cold! What the hell, Dylan," I say the last sentence under my breath so none of the kids would overhear. "What? I'm just trying to cool you off? You look hot."

I wipe the warming water off my skin and could tell by the look in his eyes that he wasn't just talking about my temperature, but my physique also. I roll my eyes trying to cover up the effect his flirting words have on me. "Come on, you can't tell me that didn't feel good." He demonstrates by running the melting solid down his arm as he sits beside me, a cup filled to the brim with just ice clutched in his right hand.

"Wouldn't have been so bad if I knew it was coming, dipshit," I hiss unwilling to drop my grumpy attitude just yet not after he pulled that stunt. Instead of acting surprised or concerned he just gave me a patient smile, continuing to glide the ice over his skin. It did feel good after I got over the momentary shock of the frozen water.

But it only offers a temporary reprieve from this terrible heat. Which is why I guess he got an entire cup full. He moves the ice to his collarbone and the water dripping down his skin made it glint in the summer sun. My eyes can't help, but follow the path of the water droplet as it leaves a trail down his torso.

Dylan isn't particularly muscular, but I'm okay with that. Doesn't stop me from admiring him. "See something you like?" Dylan teases and embarrassment fills me at being caught staring. "Nope," I shoot back as I force myself to face forward, watching our campers throw water balloons at each other.

"Too bad. I see something I like. Very much so," he flirts and I shake my head, biting my lip to keep from smiling. He's gonna have to work a little harder than that before I give in. Cold flares up at the base of my spine and I bite back a gasp as this time I was better prepared for the sudden drop in temperature.
