I havent seen him for a while. And since the day of unity i havent even gotten a text.
No "wassup :P"
No "hey edric, sorry i ment to text you sooner but-"
No "Goodbye edric."
"I hate to tell you this edric but-" Emria said, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I dont want to hear it!" I snapped, brushing her hand off.
"Edric lots of people died, turned to dust."
"Stop!"
"You have to move on somday edric. For your own good." Emria pleaded.
"Do you think is amity is dead too?" I shot back.
"Edric" Emria said. stony faced, "I dont want to talk about it."
"Ok rub death in my face but dont adress the possiblity of losing amity you hypocrite." I growled.
"Im sorry Edric i just hate seeing you like this, i thought maybe if you moved on from hunter you would have less on your plate." Em said, her voice catching.
"I dont want to hear it."
Tears formed in Emrias eyes. "Im sorry i dont know what im doing. I dont know what to do."
I looked up at her. As much as i felt like screaming, Emria was in just as much pain as i was and i hated hurting her.
"Im sorry too, for lashing out." I choked, tears streaming down my face again, "But please dont suggest hunter is dead, i still have hope and- and i want to hold onto it for as long as i can."
"Ok Ed." Em sniffed, pulling me into a hug, "ok."
