In your arms (goldric)

Edric pov:

Its been a long week. Long hours laying on my floor, listening to the shouting of my siblings and parents fighting to win pointless arguments.

Why did they fight, why couldent we just be happy.

It had been a long week, but now I was safe. Hunters arms wrapped around me. His face resting in the crook of my neck, soft breathing calming my troubled mind.

"well?" I heard hunter say, waking me from my thoughts.

"Huh?' I said, lifting my head.

"Did you hear anything I just said?" He smiled, already knowing the answer.

"No sorry." I said, sheepishly smiling back. "Can you repeat that"

"I wrote a poem for you." He said, pulling me a little closer.

"Yeah?" I asked, pirking up a little.

Hunter cleared his throat, his face turing a little pink.

"Roses are red, violets are blue, so many things in the world, but all I want is you."

My heart skipped a beat as I looked away. The horrid feelings from the past few day melting away as hunter blushed.

"What do you think?"

I grinned, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you that was . . . really sweet."

He wrapped his arms around me again and suddenly I knew.

I would be ok Hunter, as long as i was in your arms.
