I woke up at 6:00 o'clock am so that I could catch me and Jonathan's flight. I went in Jonathan's room and almost fell over because of the smell of cannabis. "Jonathan! Wake up you dumbass! We're gonna miss our flight," I said, hitting Jonathan with his pillow. Jonathan groaned. I hit him again and he sat up, his eyes were red and his hair was a mess. "Didn't mom tell you?" he asked. "Tell me what?" I asked, angrily. "I'm not going which means you can't go," said Jonathan. "And why the hell are you not going?" I asked, I was more than angry now. "I don't feel like it," Jonathan said before he laid back down on his bed. "You're such a fucking liar. You just want to stay because you want to get high and fucked up with Argyle. You're such a dick," I said before slapping him with his pillow one more time.
I left the room and went to mom's room. I turned on her lights and hit her with a pillow. "Mom! How come no one told me Jonathan canceled our flight?!" I yelled. "He was supposed to," mom grumbled. "Yeah, well he didn't. He canceled our flight without my consent and now Dustin won't get his package!" I yelled. "What do you mean package?" mom asked confused. "Me, mom! I was going to surprise Dustin and the others but since my asshole brother canceled because all he wants to do is--you know what? Nevermind, I'm gonna take a bus and buy another ticket to Hawkins myself!" I exclaimed. "Y/N, no!" mom yelled but I slammed the door shut and went back to my room. I grabbed my suitcase and my wallet and hurried downstairs. I limped outside due to the fact that my legs still weren't as strong and I didn't use my crutches but I made it out the door. I didn't care that I was still in my pajamas. I got halfway down the driveway before my mom called out to me. "Y/N, stop! I'll take you!" mom yelled. I stopped and turned around. "I thought you didn't want me to go to Hawkins by myself," I said, squinting my eyes in suspicion. "I talked to Karen. She said she'd be happy to pay for your ticket to Hawkins and you can stay with her in Nancy's room or Mike's." "Okay, when's the flight?" I asked. "Well, Karen has pull at the airport so she got you the next flight which is in two hours, so the same time as the flight you and Jonathan were supposed to take," mom replied. "How is that even possible?" I asked. "Have you met Karen?" mom asked. "Fair enough. Can you drop me off now?" I asked. "Well, go change first," said mom. I smiled and placed my luggage in the trunk before making it back inside towards El and I's room.

I changed and made my way back outside where my mom was waiting. "Can we go now?" I asked, impatiently. "Sure, let's just go. I want to go back to sleep soon," Mom said as she opened the door to the car. I walked over to the car, placed my luggage in the car then hopped in the front seat.
At first I thought it was gonna be a trick to get me to fall asleep in the car because I always fall asleep on car rides, but she actually took me to the airport! Mom took me inside to get my ticket, then she left right before I went through security. I the waited an hour and a half before I boarded my plane. I was told that Karen was going to be picking me up from the airport.
