Y/N's POV

As soon as the dizziness came over me if felt as if someone was flashing something in my eyes. Kind of like those binocular things that when you looked inside you saw a picture and when you pulled the lever it changed pictures. I think they call it a Retro Viewer. But, that's not the point. The point is that what I was seeing did not look right. It was a figure and he kind of reminded me a lot like Red Skull from the Marvel comics. If Red Skull was a spider, that is. It was hanging from a ceiling and he had spider-ish legs coming out of it. I couldn't exactly tell what it was doing but it looked a lot like he was meditating. I didn't feel as though I was actually there. I was looking at it from a third person perspective and it was quite scary. The image changed and I got closer and closer with the thing, just like in a Retro Viewer. And the closer I got, the more afraid I was that it would take notice of my presence. It wasn't until I was inches away from it's face that its eyes opened, causing me to scream and black out, waking me up from whatever the fuck just happened to me.

Dustin's POV

"Hey, hey, hey! What the hell is happening to Y/N?" came Steve's voice. I turned away from Eddie and saw that Y/N was passed out on the ground. Blood slowly coming out of her nose.
"What the shit?!" I yelled and ran up to her. I sat her up and started to shake her.
"This can not be happening again," I said as I continued to shake her.
"Whoa, what do you mean again?" asked Robin.
"Two years ago. Her twin was possessed by the Mind Flayer. And I guess since her and Will's minds are basically connected, it caused her to  slip into a coma," I explained.
"Okay, that doesn't make any sense," Robin said.
"It doesn't have to--Y/N! Wake up!" I yelled. Her eyes opened and they were rolled at the back of her head for a split second right before she screamed, causing all of us to jump in fear. Y/N started to sob and I gripped her tight.
"Ssh, ssh, shh, it's okay. You're okay," I cooed over her sobs. I looked up and everyone looked worried.
"I saw...I saw..." Y/N sobbed.
"Saw what?" I asked. "What did you see?"
"I--I think it was Vecna," she said.
"What did he look like?" I asked.
"He looked like Red Skull from the Marvel comics," Y/N replied. Her whole body was shaking with fear. "He also looked like a spider. He was hanging from the ceiling of some sort of building. It looked like a house," Y/N explained.
"Did you just see him or did he notice your were there?" I asked.
"I don't know. I thought he noticed at the end when he opened his eyes. Except, he wasn't looking right at me. He was looking past me," she explained further.
"Did anything else happen?" I asked. Y/N shook her head. "I woke up after that. I wasn't even physically there. It was like I was looking at it from a different point of view."
"How is that even possible?" asked Max.
"I don't know. But, it can't be good."

After calming Y/N down, we left. We told Eddie we'd bring him food in the morning. I honestly have no idea what could be wrong with Y/N this time.  I just hope that whatever happened to Chrissy won't happen to my Y/N or I'm gonna lose it.

Y/N's POV

Steve dropped me off at the Wheeler's house. I got my crutches and went inside. I asked Mrs. Wheeler if I could use her phone and being the nice house host she is, she said yes. I dialed my home phone and made the call.

"Byers Residence," came a semi recognizable voice.
"Uh, hi? This is Y/N Byers? Who is this?" I asked.
"Oh, Y/N! Hi, this is Murray. Murray Bauman," the voice said cheerfully.
"Murray? What are you doing at my house?" I asked.
"Private business with your mother. Did you call to check in?" Murray asked.
"No, actually. Can you give the phone to Will or Mike?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure. Everything okay in Hawkins?" asked Murray.
"Yeah. Sure. Just give Mike or Will the phone, please?" I urged.
"Yeah, okay," Murray said in an iffy tone. I heard him pass the phone.
"Hello?" It was Will.
"Will! Okay, so uh...I had another one of those senses. That something was wrong. Did anything happen?" I asked.
"Yeah, uh..." Will trailed. He then lowered his tone. "We were at the skating rink that we went to once with mom and Angela and her friends were there. They embarrassed El in front of Mike and out of anger, El hit Angela with a roller skate and--let's just say there was a lot of blood," Will explained. I honestly had no idea weather to be proud or concerned.
"Damn...that's...unfortunate," I said in a false tone. "What did they do to El?" I asked.
"Well, Angela took her to the middle of the rink and everyone started to skate around her calling her names and then that dude with the sun glasses poured a milkshake all over her, causing her to fall," Will explained.
"Shit...that sunglasses freak dude is so lucky I'm out of state. They're all lucky im not here to protect her when I should be. I shouldn't have left, Will," I said, glumly.
"Why? What's wrong?" Will asked.
"Something else is wrong in Hawkins...again," I explained.
"Shit..." Will whispered in a stressed tone.
"Get Mike to go on one of the other lines in the house. He's gonna want to hear it," I said. There was  second of silence.
"Okay, he's getting on the other phone," Will told me.
"Hello?" came Mike's voice.
"Mike...there's been a murder in Hawkins," I said.
"What?" came the voice of both Will and Mike.
"Do we know them?" asked Will.
"Mike might. Mike--do you know anyone by the name of Chrissy Cunningham?" I asked.
"Yeah, she's the head cheerleader at our school," Mike replied.
"Well, something killed her and your friend Eddie Munson is suspect number one because she was with at Eddie's trailer when it happened," I explained.
"H-how do you know this?" asked Mike.
"Max lives in the same neighborhood as him. And she told us what she saw. And we went to look for Eddie and he told us that it was as if she was possessed. Her bones snapped, her eyes were pulled to the back of her head--there was no way that a human could've done this," I stressed.
"You don't suspect--"
"Is it--"
"This is something new and yes it has everything to do with the Upside Down. But, this isn't a demogorgan or the mind flayer's doing...we call it Vecna," I replied.
"Vecna like the spell caster?" asked Mike.
"Exactly like the spell caster," I replied. "And I've seen him."
"What?" the two boys said in unison.
"How?" asked Mike.
"You know how Will used to be able to see into the Upside down and feel the Mind Flayer's presence? I think that's how I am with Vecna," I explained.
"We need to tell El about this," said Mike.
"--No, Mike. We're not going to tell her anything. I am not going to stress her out with this. Especially since she doesn't have her powers. And plus she's probably in enough trouble with this Angela incident. Speaking of which, where is El?" I asked.
"She went to her room a little bit ago," Will explained.
"Okay. Can I talk to her?" I asked.
"Yeah, hold on. I'll go get her," Will said.
"You can leave now, Mike. I'd like to talk to El alone," I said.
"Okay. Stay safe," Mike said.
"Thanks. You too," I said. After a minute of silence I heard a very sniffly voice.
"Hello?" It was El.
"Hey, El. How are you holding up?" I asked.
"I...I hurt Angela," El said. "I know, I heard. Are you okay?" I asked.
"Not really. She hurt me so I hurt her back," El said.
"I know, El. I'm sorry she did that to you. I wish I was there to protect you," I said in a guilty tone.
"You shouldn't have to. I'm supposed to be the one to protect," El said. I sighed.
"I know this is hard for you, El. And I'm not going to say whether or not you did the right thing or not but...just know that you are still learning about the world around you. You're going to learn what's right and wrong. This small incident is one of many and that's okay. You'll get there," I said.
"Promise?" asked El. I could tell she was crying through the phone.
"I promise, El," I reassured.
"I wish you were here. Our sister talks aren't the same when you're away," El said.
"I know, El and I'm sorry I wasn't there to be with you. It's getting late. You should get some rest. You must be exhausted," I said to El.
"I am exhausted," said El.
"Okay...you can give the phone back to Will. Goodnight El. I'll call again tomorrow," I said.
"Okay. Goodnight," El said. She sounded completely heartbroken which broke my heart a little.
"Hey, it's me," came Will's voice.
"Will...I want you and Mike to stay by El's side 24/7. Do not leave her alone for one second, do you hear me?" I said sternly. "Y-yeah. Is everything okay?" asked Will.
"I already told you. Just...don't separate, okay? Stay together. Promise me, Will." I said, my tone unchanged.
"Yeah. We'll stick together," Will reassured.
"Okay. I'm going to go to bed," Will said.
"Don't you want to talk to Jonathan first?" asked Will.
"No. Tell that Pot head I say Fuck you and Don't talk to me when I get back," I hissed.
"Jeez, you seem pretty mad at him," Will said.
"Yeah, he canceled our flight so he can stay and smoke weed with his hippie friend," I exclaimed.
"Fair point. I'll give him the message," I said.
"Good. Goodnight Will."
"Goodnight, Y/N. Tell the others I said hi."
"Will do, Will. Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up.

Instead of going to Nancy's room, I went down to the basement. The place of many D&D memories and Rescuing Will memories. I wasn't even thinking about changing my pajamas. I just slumped onto the couch and fell asleep. My sleep dreamless.
