YOUR POV
While driving on the freeway to who knows where, I start to try and think of the happy things and the first thing that comes to mind was Dustin's and I's first date.
We went to Enzo's. It was a fancy restaurant and it was a really romantic night...*Flashback*
It's been a month since Dustin and I started going out and this was going to be our first date since the Snowball. I was excited and kinda nervous. Our moms were going to give us money for the meal then go eat and chat at another table, far from us. Keeps us from the embarrassment.
Since the restaurant is fancy I wore a simple, but delicate dress and put my hair in a half-up style braided and curled.
I made sure I had my locket around my neck before exiting the bathroom after getting ready. I only took the necklace off when changing or showering. Otherwise, I had that lovely piece of jewelry on me every other second of the day.
"Y/N, you ready?" mom called from the living room.
"Yeah!" I replied. I grabbed my little handbag, then met my mom in the living room.
"Why, don't you look beautiful," mom smiled at me, admiring my dress and hair.
"Thank you," I replied.
"Tell Dustin I said hi," Will said from the couch as he was playing atari. "Will do," I replied as mom opened the door and we both headed for the car.
RIght as we came out, Jonathan was pulling up in his car. "Oooh! Lil sis is going on a date I see," Jonathan said nudging me.
"Someone lost his V-card, I see."
"No, that was already lo-"
Jonathan stopped talking after mom shot him a look.
"I-I'll catch you guys later. Have fun on your date," Jonathan said, avoiding eye contact with mom on his way in the door. Mom looked to me and cocked her brow. "He tells me things," I simply said. She simple nods and we went into her car.It took about ten minutes to get to the restaurant. Once we pulled up, Dustin and his mom were waiting by the front door. I smiled as I quickly got out of the car and walked briskly up to Dustin.
"Hi, Dustin," I said, hugging him. "Hi Y/N. You look great," he said, returning the hug. "Thanks. You do to," I said, breaking the hug, admiring his black button up and dress pants. He had his hair in the same style it was at the Snowball. It was cute.
"Hi Ms. Henderson," I greeted. "Hi, Y/N. Don't you look lovely," she said to me. "Thank you," I smiled.
Mom and Ms. Henderson greeted each other and we all went inside. A hostess had us seated and Dustin and I had our own table while mom and Ms. Henderson sat at the other end of the restaurant. The orchestra was playing a lovely song and a waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a f/c and Dustin ordered a lemon water.
