Quick Author's Note!:
SO! After literally almost a year of waiting, I have finally released Chapter 51. I wanted to appreciate you all for hanging in there and being patient with me! It's been difficult with my schedule and my hard-earned motivation over the last several months. I haven't lost the eagerness to write, per se, but I didn't realize how choppy the story felt (I've read it like, three times over now and got the same feeling.) Not only am I questioning the younger me's writing style, but I'm also wondering where the heck the plot went half the time LOL. No worries though, it remains something enjoyable for all of you and I want to keep that part going; that's why I write in the first place! Though, I will be making some minor and major adjustments to the writing eventually to hopefully fill in the gaps that came up while I was reading it. I will be fixing the style to the current writing style I have now, as well as grammar/spelling checking everything twice over to be sure it's cohesive. I'm going to make sure the plot is cleaned up too. Trust me, the end of the book is already set in stone, it's just GETTING there that's a little harder than I anticipated. However, with this chapter, I hope we can start getting toward that point!
Again, thank you so much for staying with me and it amazes me how many of you are enthralled in the story so far. It warms my heart to know I can create a place for you all here in this book. <3 Scheduled updates are being considered, but I haven't decided on a day to dedicate them since this book is among two others that are being consistently updated on a schedule. I'll try my best to make it work!
Without further ado, please enjoy Chapter 51!! <3

The party rooms were unsettling now more than ever, and he knew it was himself to blame for the feeling.
Funtime Freddy couldn't quite change his attitude towards it, much as he tried, sitting there humming to himself as he stood still on his stage. His circuits were whirring nervously, whimpering under his breath before sighing in defeat. "I don't feel so confident anymore," he whispered to Bon Bon, a tinge of regret hanging on his words. He shuttered at the thought of losing himself to the program again and hurting more children, but he felt even worse knowing you weren't going to be there to stop him. He closed his eyes worriedly as his body shook. At least he wouldn't hurt you, he thought to himself, but was that any better?
The small hand puppet's eyes quickly scanned the room to be sure they were alone, then came to life as he looked at Freddy with slight concern. "Hey, don't worry about it so much, buddy! It's gonna happen the more you think about it. Think of nice things instead! Happy things even!" His positive reinforcement was...not comforting, to say the least.
Freddy snorted and lowered his ears, squinting at his puppet in complete disgust. "How's that supposed to make me feel better, Bon Bon?" His soft growls made the puppet whimper, in turn making him catch his temper and sigh with regret. "I-I'm sorry...I just—"
The hand puppet huffed and crossed his arms. He knew he was having a hard time, giving a small nod in acceptance to the sorrowful bear's apology. "Well, I-I...Um, think of (Y/N)!" The bunny puppet nodded dramatically as if he had come up with the greatest idea ever. "She makes you happy! Plus, she would want you to enjoy performing for kids after being away for a while!" He shrugged off the robot bear's unfocused reaction and continued trying to cheer him up as much as he could. "You got to at least give it your best," he mumbled weakly, his ears slowly drooping as he saw Freddy look away from him.
Freddy exhaled weakly, unsure if his already contaminated thoughts could defeat the sense of dread he was experiencing inside his mechanical chest. "Every time I do think of her, I only wish she was here with me more. I feel so empty without her beside me."
