You stared at the curtains as Baby approached them. Anyone else would think the mural hiding behind those curtains would be nothing more than a wall of pictures. Nothing more and nothing less. But, to you and the others, it wasn't. It was so much more; it was the everlasting memory of the victims who didn't deserve their fate. It reminded everyone underground how important it was to be there for them even in death. You wanted to be there for those lost souls, especially the ones who haunted the animatronics, giving them life in return.
She hummed softly and looked over her shoulder. Baby sighed weakly. "It's a lot, but it shouldn't be that difficult to look at." She shrugged weakly and slowly began to pull the curtains back. She took a deep breath, looking down and whimpering under her breath. She felt so off, suddenly. She wasn't sure what was holding her back, but it was a feeling. Was it guilt? She knew the feeling of guilt, but for once it hurt far more than usual. She huffed at herself, before pulling the curtains back and pinning them with rope. She turned to face you and Freddy. "Here they are."
Freddy looked to you, cooing softly before gently setting you down on the floor. He watched you worriedly, tilting his head as you started forward to the mural. Sure, you could walk and do everything that didn't require you to use your bad arm, but he still felt he had to protect you. He wanted to aid your every move, just so he knew you were okay. Or is it...so that I am okay? He hummed weakly, noticing Baby's eyes on him. He shuddered, unsure whether to act on the fear of being in trouble or just pretend he didn't care. Neither worked because she pointed it out to him.
Baby stood close as she watched you gape at the mural. She looked to Freddy and held his shoulder. "You haven't let it go yet," she mumbled. "You know it's not your fault."
Freddy whimpered, lowering his ears. He whispered, "What are you trying to say?"
"You just carried her here like she was a child. She can walk on her own." Baby sighed softly and held her arms crossed against her chest. "You are trying to make up for it in any way possible. You want to do everything all because you bit her."
"I-I..." he was a loss for words really, and his quiet voice only grew softer. He sniffed shakily, "I-I didn't mean to. I swear." He sighed, "I-I'm scared, and I can't shake the guilt I have for doing what I did!"
Baby held Freddy's back, trying to reassure him. "It's alright, Freddy," she hummed weakly. "Is there something else, though?" She squinted. "It can't just be all that regret," she muttered. "What else is on your mind?"
Freddy hiccupped weakly, feeling his insides twist as his body burned. He felt hot, hot with anger at himself, and at the evil purpose he was made for. That insidious purpose was now forcing him to do things he never wanted to do. He was suffering from evil thoughts, thoughts that wanted you dead in front of him. He didn't want those negative thoughts of his to drive him mad, but he never wanted Baby to know anything about it. If she knew, it could cause problems. What kind of problems? He wasn't quite sure, but he could sense it. I can't tell her that I've been struggling to control my head. I have this urge to kill the one I love, all because I was made for it. Why is it so strong? I love her so much, but I want to do so many things to her that don't relate to such a sweet feeling.
"Freddy?"
He jumped, reminded that she was still waiting for a response from him. He started to shake in his suit, frightened. "I-I can't say—"
"You will say," she said lowly in a soft whisper. She held both of Freddy's shoulders, staring into his blue, worried eyes. "What is it that you're hiding from her? What are you hiding from me?"
Freddy whimpered, blubbering softly. He closed his eyes tightly as he looked down. "I-I...I have had these bad thoughts, B-Baby..." he whimpered.
"What of?" She tilted her head. She tried to sound caring, but her face never changed from its emotionless state. Deep down, she was worried about him.
