You stared, mesmerized by the fixture you came to face as soon as you entered the Breaker Room. You were staring at a small part of the wall across from the stage, lit up by pink light fixtures and hanging stars. You stepped off the stage slowly, walking toward the glowing area.
Freddy watched, humming hopefully. Does she like it? Is she mad?
Freddy, calm down! Just wait!
You blinked, your mouth agape as you reached up and touched a picture of your parents that was hung there on the wall. It's the picture from my suit case. Your eyes moved to the lights. They were pink, not your favorite color, but they were still beautiful. Some were purple, which you guessed was Freddy's doing. They were strung in a large square around the picture of your parents. Hanging from pipes above we're the stars you noticed from the party rooms. You looked down and saw a piece of paper with terrible hand writing. It had the words "bed goes here" scribbled across it. You chuckled softly. Bon-Bon must have done this.
Finally, you asked softly,"Did....did you guys do this?" You looked over your shoulder at Freddy and his puppet, who nodded slowly, smiling.
"D-Do you like it?" Freddy wondered softly, walking over slowly and stopping behind you.
You laughed and said, "Like it? Oh no..." your voice faded.
Freddy's ears drooped and his buddy patted his shoulder slowly. Oh...
"I love it..." you sighed, giving him a warm smile.
His eyes grew wider as he looked up at you. "You...you really do?" He asked in a high pitch voice, almost as if he were going to cry himself.
"Of course!! It's so sweet that you guys did this for me!" You chuckled and turned to Freddy, hugging him tightly and laughing. "Thank you so much, guys!"
Freddy felt himself heating up quickly, and he tried to be calm as he hesitantly hugged you in return. He then hugged you tighter without realization. "I-I'm glad you l-like it!" He stuttered, giggling happily.
You broke the hug after a few seconds and looked back at the scenery. "Why? Why did you do this?"
Freddy fumbled his fingers and laughed nervously. "Oh, we just wanted to uh...make you feel a little more welcomed and at home here, that's all," he stated, looking at the floor.
"Awe, thanks guys!" You smiled and chuckled, "You didn't have to do that."
"Well, I wanted to," Freddy mumbled.
"What was that?" you asked, raising an eyebrow, but your attention was drawn to knocking on the door. You smiled. "There here! Wait 'till they see what you guys did for me!" you sang as you ran to the door.
Freddy sighed with relief.
You opened the door and the animatronics outside welcomed themselves in. Ballora and Baby brought your mattress in together and asked where to put it.
"Over there! And look what Freddy and Bon-Bon did for me!" you told them, pointing at the marvelous lights and stars. "Isn't it nice?"
"I think it looks marvelous," Ballora agreed as she helped Baby set the mattress where the poorly written label had said to. Baby then went out to get a few more things as Ballora followed, but stopped and smiled at Freddy. "You two did well," she whispered softly and crawled out of the room.
You were bringing in the bags that you would keep down underground with you, setting them on your mattress. You didn't have a bed frame or anything fancy, but you didn't need one at the same time. You began pulling things out of the bags, looking at them as you did. You waved goodbye to Baby, Ballora, and Foxy, which said goodbye in response. You heard the door close, looking back at Freddy with a smile.
