"Hey, heartbreaker!" A new and improved Erica Reyes called, approaching her brunette friend who was tidying her locker. Leaning up against Lydia's locker, Erica watched a very tired looking Rebecca McCall rearrange her text books.
"Me? Have you looked in the mirror today? You're gonna be the one breaking hearts looking like that." Rebecca replied, turning to Erica who was wearing a black leather mini skirt, a white t-shirt, a black leather jacket and leopard printed pumps to complete her outfit. Her blonde hair was perfectly curled and she was wearing a hell of a lot of makeup, her red lips standing out the most.
"They won't be ignoring me anymore, that's for sure."
"I don't think they could if they tried, my friend." Rebecca said, smiling at the blonde.
"So are we gonna talk about last night?" Erica questioned, clapping her hands together as though she had been dying to ask about it, which she probably had.
"Nope."
"Oh, come on!"
"I don't know how I feel about it yet and therefore I refuse to comment on the subject."
"How do you not know how you feel about it? Did you like it?"
"Well, yes, but that doesn't mean I want it to happen again."
"He's not gonna give up, you know."
"Maybe I don't want him to." Rebecca shrugged, biting her lip and giving her friend a mischievous grin as she closed her locker. Erica shook her head and laughed, before grabbing her idiotic friend's arm and dragging her down the hallway.
"Come on, I have a dramatic entrance to make. I'm thinking of stealing some guy's apple, makes a statement, don't you think?" Erica pondered, cocking her head to the side.
"Yeah, the statement being 'I like apples'?"
"Oh, shush! It'll be hot." Erica laughed, rolling her eyes and taking a deep breath as they reached the cafeteria doors.
"Sure, I think I'll just go over to Stiles and Scott while you enjoy your whole entrance thing. Good luck." Rebecca said, leaving the blonde to psych herself up as Rebecca entered the cafeteria making a beeline for Scott and Stiles.
"Hey, Becs! Allison, Scott and I are going to the ice rink tonight, you in?" Stiles asked, grinning at Rebecca as she sat down, last night's conversation long forgotten.
"Yeah, sure. I'd love to." Rebecca nodded, soon realising that neither of the boy's attention was on her. Following their gobsmacked gazes, her eyes fell on Erica, who now had absolutely everybody's eyes on her as she bit into a apple and strutted out.
"What the Holy hell, was that?" Lydia demanded, smacking her palms down on the table.
"Erica." Rebecca answered simply as Scott and Stiles practically leapt out of their seats and followed the blonde. Sighing, Rebecca followed their lead and caught up just in time to see Derek drive off with Erica in the passenger seat. Stiles and Scott wearing expressions of shock and confusion, but that was nothing compared to the strange feeling seeing Derek gave Rebecca.

"But it's the colour of the Mets!" Stiles exclaimed, after Rebecca rejected the offer of his bright orange jumper because she was wearing blue. In response, Rebecca just pursed her lips at him. "Okay, fine. Maybe orange and blue don't go together so well, but sometimes things that people don't think go together, go really well." Stiles nervously began, pausing to hand Rebecca a Reese's cup. "Like two people, for example. Two people that no one ever thought would be together, but they do."
