Derek had tried reaching out to Rebecca, but she wasn't having it and did whatever it took to ignore him every time, meanwhile Isaac said that Mikayla almost never leaves Derek's side. Rebecca was quickly growing tired of Isaac's constant updates and the pitying looks she kept getting from her brother, so when Stiles asked her to come to Lydia's party with him, she couldn't say yes fast enough.
"I'm gonna be on the lookout for Jackson's master, but I could use your help."
"Doesn't matter, I'd love to go. I know I said I didn't want to be involved with the kanima drama, but I could definitely use the distraction."
"Okay then, great! I'll pick you up at 7. See you then, Becs!" Stiles replied before hanging up, giving Rebecca time to stress about something normal, like what to wear to their friend's party. Rebecca ransacked her wardrobe before deciding to call Allison for help, they hadn't talked in a while and Rebecca thought this would be a good start to reconnecting.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Allison! It's Rebecca and I'm in desperate need of some fashion advice. Do you think you come around and help me out? Stiles is picking me up at 7."
"Yeah, I'd love to. Mum wanted to talk to me about something, but it can wait. I'll be over in 5!"
"You're a life saver! Thanks, Alli."
"Anytime, Becca." Allison replied before ending the call, leaving Rebecca to stare at her clothes covered floor. So much had been going on that she had regretfully ignored Allison and Lydia, but now she needed to fix that. Rebecca was the only one home so a knock on the door instantly pulled her from her thoughts and sent her to the door, where she curiously eyed it; knowing it was too soon to be Allison.
Rebecca slowly opened the door and the second she did, she tried to slam it closed again, but Derek was one step ahead of her and slid his foot in between the door and the door frame.
"I hope that hurt." She muttered, glaring up at him as she slammed the door on his foot.
"Rebecca, please just talk to me."
"No, I'm not going to let you keep messing with my head. I can't believe I actually thought you liked me! God, I'm so stupid." She hissed back, repeatedly pushing the door forward onto his foot. Derek was strong enough to push it open if he wished, but he knew it was making Rebecca feel a little better so he let her continue to do it, doing his best to ignore the sharp pain.
"Rebecca, I do like you. Please just let me in so I can explain."
"You've basically abandoned me, Derek. I don't know what I am even means, I don't know the full capacity to my powers and you turned your back on me. You kicked me out of the pack, so if you think even for a second I'm going to let you in and trust you again, you're dead wrong."
"I never turned my back on you, don't you ever say that. I want to help you, I still want to be there for you- hell, Rebecca I want to be with you!" Derek yelled through the door and suddenly the constant pushing on his foot stopped.
"What?" Rebecca said, her voice deadly quiet.
"I said I-"
"No. No. No. You're doing it again and you need to stop."
"Stop what? Becs, I-"
"I told you not to call me that."
"Oh come on, you're acting like we're together and I cheated on you! I kicked you out of the pack because Mikayla warned me of the alpha pack, apparently they're coming to Beacon Hills for you and to get you, they'd force you to kill your pack. I didn't want that for you, I know you wouldn't have wanted that for yourself."
"The alpha pack?"
"They're a pack of alphas and a pythonissam would be the perfect addition to their collection. I want to look after you, I want to keep you safe and protect you. I know you're not apart of the pack anymore, but please let me do that, Rebecca." Derek said, his voice soft and soothing, lulling Rebecca straight back where he wanted her. Slowly, the door opened and revealed Rebecca, the girl looking at him curiously.
"Allison will be here any second, you should probably go."
"Seriously?" Derek groaned, quickly growing frustrated with the cold shoulder he was getting from Rebecca, he'd be lying if he said he hadn't expected her to walk straight into his arms when the door opened.
"Yes, seriously. She's helping me pick out an outfit for Lydia's party tonight." Becca replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Can I take you there?"
"Stiles already is. I'm sure I'll see you around though."
"Rebecca, please just give me a chance. I really like you, I love it when you tease me and I love it when you playfully tell me you hate me, I love spending time with you and oh god, I love it when you kiss me. I just want you, don't make me beg."
"I really like you too." Rebecca whispered back, looking back up at Derek who moved his foot back into a more comfortable position. She matched his happy smile before softly closing the door in his face. It wasn't going to be that easy, Derek was good with words and Rebecca knew that. She definitely liked him, but she was waiting for his actions to mirror his words before she was going to give him another chance.

"Yep, that's the one. You look incredible in that outfit!" Allison exclaimed, nodding thoughtfully as she looked her friend up and down. Rebecca was dressed in a high waisted black leather mini skirt, black ankle booties and fluffy white cropped-sweater; a thin line of tanned skin visible between her sweater and skirt. She wore a dainty necklace and a black leather clutch to keep her phone in, her hair was straightened and slightly curled at the ends so it was light and bouncy. "Let me just do your makeup, then I'll leave you to go get ready with Lydia." Allison beamed, sitting Rebecca down and gently beginning to paint her face with makeup.
"Thanks for this, Allison. I'm sorry I've been a little distant lately."
"No, it's okay. I understand that there has been a lot going on with you recently. A pythonissam, huh? That sounds pretty cool."
"Yeah, so far it's been fine. If I cut myself I heal almost instantly and can levitate things, but that's really the extent of my powers to date." Rebecca explained, waving her hand about and causing a pillow to dart around the room.
"Okay, that's awesome!" Allison laughed, dusting powder over Rebecca's face before beginning on her eyes. "How do you feel about a smokey eye?"
"I love it." Becca grinned back, closing her eyes for Allison and just enjoying the little girl time she had. Allison was a nice girl and somehow Rebecca just felt like she had good intentions, she wouldn't do anything to hurt Becca or any of her friends and that aura she carried made Rebecca love hanging out with the brunette even more. She was to be trusted, or so Rebecca had thought..
