"Derek said he'd come see me later, I should probably just wait till he comes over to tell him about my powers." Rebecca shrugged as Isaac headed straight to the McCall kitchen.
"Come on, Becca! This is something he won't mind you interrupting his little reunion for, let's head over now and show him. Oh and do you guys have any cheese?"
"Yeah, top shelve in the fridge. Here, I'll make you a grilled cheese?" Rebecca suggested, pressing herself against Isaac's back so she could reach the cheese, before grabbing it and twirling around so she was at the bench sorting out the bread. "And it can wait, by the looks of it he hasn't seen her in ages. They probably need some alone time to catch up."
"Or time to make out.." Isaac muttered, raising an eyebrow at Rebecca.
"Oh, please. We're not even actually together. If he wants to kiss Mikayla, so be it."
"If he kissed Mikayla you'd be devastated, Becca and Scott would be murderous." Isaac pointed out, carefully watching Rebecca as she quite harshly began buttering the bread.
"Okay, so maybe I would be, but can you blame me? He keeps messing with my head. I think he wants to be with me, but then Mikayla walks in and I swear to god she has got to be the prettiest human being on Earth. Honestly, what is she playing at?"
"First of all, please put down the knife and secondly she's actually a werewolf, she'd be the prettiest female werewolf on Earth."
"Of course she is!" Becca groaned, throwing her hands up and glaring at the blank wall in front of her. "Ugh, this is ridiculous, why am I even jealous? She could be his cousin for all we know."
"Oh, I'm definitely not his cousin, honey." A silky voice spoke, causing Rebecca to freeze. "It's a nice little home you've got here, didn't take me long to find either. You reek, I could basically smell you from Derek's loft; if I didn't know any better I'd assume it was a pythonissam scent." Mikayla continued, walking into view.
"Hi, Mikayla." Rebecca shortly said, giving her a strained smile. "Can I help you or did you just come to tell me I smell?"
"You can actually. You see, I've had a long talk with Derek and it seems that he doesn't see things the way he did when we were together and I believe that it's your fault."
"Excuse me?"
"You need to stay away from Derek, he was mine before you were even born."
"You do realise you're only a few years older than us, right?" Isaac countered, raising his eyebrows at the blonde who just huffed at him before focusing back on Rebecca.
"Got it, sweetheart?"
"What if I don't?" Rebecca challenged, crossing her arms over her chest and squinting her eyes slightly. Mikayla certainly appeared sweet, but Rebecca was quickly learning that even salt looks like sugar.
"You don't want to know, but I can assure you it won't be pretty." Mikayla answered, twisting her face into a sickly sweet expression. "We don't have a problem yet, but I have a feeling that we will very shortly. Bye, Rebecca. Oh and Isaac, I'll see you back at the loft - pack meeting."
"Wait, but I'm in the pack?"
"Not anymore, turns out we don't need a witch." Mikayla shrugged before exiting.
"Okay, first of all I'm locking the doors from now on and secondly, I hate her." Rebecca muttered as Isaac nodded.
"I hate to make you feel worse, but I think you've burnt my grilled cheese." Isaac mumbled, pointing to the stove only earning a stone cold glare from Rebecca. "It's okay, I'll -uh, I'll just make one myself."
