Isaac woke up early the next morning, tangled up in Rebecca's blankets and with his long arm draped over Rebecca's clothed waist, with 'Rocky III' menu screen still on Rebecca's laptop screen. Isaac smiled softly as his best friend stirred slightly beside him, the McCall girl muttering quietly to herself as she moved around. The two fell asleep last night in the middle of the third Rocky movie and in his sleep, Isaac had clearly pulled Rebecca close to him. He didn't know what exactly it was, but Isaac had an overwhelming feeling that the brunette must be protected and whether that was because of the special liking his alpha took to her or her powers that she was still unaware of, Isaac may never know, he just knew Derek would kill him if anything happened to her and that was why Derek had sent him over to the McCall house so late last night.

"Rebecca, I don't know if you can hear me, but I had better go before your brother comes to check on you, this might be a little hard to explain." Isaac whispered, retracting his arm as Rebecca's eyes fluttered open.

"Mm, okay then. I'll see you later, thanks for coming to make sure I was alright." Rebecca mumbled back, sleepily rubbing her eyes.

"No worries, McCall. What are friends for?"

"Bye, Lahey." Rebecca laughed, standing up and pushing him towards her window.

"Can't I just use the front door?"

"Nope, my brother is already awake and you're right, this really doesn't look good."

"Okay, good point. I'll see you around." Isaac nodded, climbing out of her window and scurrying off into the early morning.

"See ya." Rebecca called out after him, turning around to see a very unimpressed Scott standing in her doorway with his arms crossed and eyebrows raised.

"And who was that?"

"No one." Rebecca shrugged, smiling innocently at Scott who rolled his eyes in response.

"It sure didn't sound like no one." Scott protested.

"You hear the voices too?" Rebecca questioned, her eyes widening as she pretended she had been hearing strange voices, leaving Scott unsure how to react.

"What? No-I- You know what? It doesn't matter, I was just going to tell you to stay home and rest today. If you want I'll get Stiles to come pick you up for the lacrosse game tonight, but I think that after last night, you'd be better off spending today at home."

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'm really tired still."

"Okay then and Becs, why does your bed smell like dog?"

"Oh, uh, sometimes I sleep in your old clothes so maybe that's it?"

"But it smells really strong."

"Must just be you, maybe you should go take a shower." Rebecca shrugged, praying to God that Scott would just leave. "Oh, look at the time, you had better start getting ready for school or you'll be late! Thanks for checking up on me though, I really appreciate it."

"Yeah, okay then, I'll come back before I leave for school, you should get back into bed though."

"Will do, thanks Scotty."

"No worries, Becs. Oh and next time Isaac comes over, tell him to take a shower beforehand so I don't have to smell him the whole night." Scott smirked as he easily dodged the pillow his sister threw at him t the mention of Isaac .

"You knew?"

"Of course, Stiles came to check on you and walked in on you guys fast asleep together. You were just lucky it was him and not me that saw you two."
