Acquaintances

You continued to sit in silence while Ace, Sabo, and Luffy sat in the back seat with you. Ace took the window seat opposite of yours, Luffy sat beside him, and Sabo sat beside you.

The two dark haired males were talking about something while Sabo continued to keep his attention on you. He crossed his arms on the seat in front of him and lay his head while keeping his gaze on your flustered self. You tried to ignore him and stare at the road from your window view, but his reflection caught your attention every time.

You sighed and turned to scowl at him, but when you saw his face you felt yourself melt.

Sabo smiled when you finally turned your gaze to him and lifted his head. "So, what is your name?" He began. "You never told us and since you know all our names, it seems kinda unfair." He chuckles lightly.

Ace and Luffy stopped talking and turned to look at you curiously. You felt another gaze and glance over at Franky, who was grinning at you from the rear view mirror. Well, gonna have to say something sooner or later...

You took a deep breath. "M-My name i-is (N-N-N—)" You slammed your head on the seat in front of you and began to sulk. Why, oh why, can't you just manage to say your own name all of a sudden?

Sabo's eyes widen in shock when you slammed yourself. Ace smirked while Luffy tilted his head in confusion.

"H-Hey, are you okay?!" You felt a hand on your shoulder and glance over to see Sabo's worried face. You sulk even more. Great. I made him think I went crazy. Smooth (Name). Smooth. You groan at yourself for your inability to socialize properly.

Hearing laughter, you look over and see Luffy laughing at you. "You're really funny! We should be friends!" He says with a grin.

You can't help but smile back at him. You relax and sit up. "Sorry..." You mumble, casting your eyes away from them then laying your head on the seat in front of you and stared idly at the road ahead.

There was silence then a sound of movement from the side. A figure passed by and sat in front of you, your nose touching his. You squeak in surprise and back away with your hands over your nose. Ace laughed. "So you really are shy. That's cute~" He muses.

Sabo scoffs at him. "Don't scare her, Ace."

"Bah, you're just jealous that we almost kissed~"

"W-Wha—I am not!"

"Yep, totally are."

"SH-SHUT UP!" Sabo blushes madly and, after locking eyes with yours briefly, blushes even more and promptly covers the lower half of his face. Luffy laughs hard and falls unto the floor with his hands clutching his stomach. You could feel the contagious laughter pulling your lips into a smile and releasing out a giggle.

Sabo and Ace look at you but you couldn't stop giggling. "S-Sorry...That was just so cute~" You giggle some more. Sabo flushes bright pink and steam was coming out of his head. Ace laughs at him.

After calming down a bit, you wipe the tears that began to fall. "Hehe...Sorry I didn't mean to laugh at you, Sabo." You offer him a soft smile. "My name is (Name)."

Sabo just stared at you with pink tinted cheeks. Ace pulls his cheek and grins mischievously. "Well, well~ Didn't think Sabo was one to be a victim of love at first sight~" He chuckles, earning a slap on the shoulder from Sabo.

The bus suddenly stops and all four look to the windows to see that they were parked on the pier. "Franky? Did we get lost or something?" You ask him.

"Hold on to whatever you can, kids!" The bluenette grins and back up. You and Sabo pale while Ace and Luffy look at each other in question. "This is gonna be—SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!" He yells and floors the gas pedal. The bus began to speed up and head for the ocean!
