Best Friends?

The cold morning air sent shivers down your back as you opened one eye to take in your surroundings. Was it morning already?

A familiar grin was in your line of vision and a pair of round blue eyes that screamed for excitement. "Wakey wakey, sleeping beauty~" Your roommate giggled.

"G'morning, Koa..." You groaned and covered your face with your blanket. "Five more minutes..."

She laughed. "Well you don't have classes yet anyway. Lucky. I'll be heading out now. See you at lunch?" Koala was already at the door with her books in hand. After giving a nod, she left the room to let you continue your sleep.

*Koala's POV*

Slowly walking out of the girl's dorm, a teen with blonde hair caught her attention. He was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets, seemingly to be waiting for someone. "Hey Sabo," She greeted.

His head snapped towards her direction and he briefly paused. From the expression on his face, he seemed to be trying to remember her name. "Koala. (Name)'s roommate." She informed the clueless lad. He smiled sheepishly with a hand rubbing his neck. "Heh. Sorry. I figured you looked familiar."

He walks over and falls in step with her as she continued walking towards the main building. "So what are you doing outside of the girl's dorm?" Koala asks with a smirk. She probably knew the answer already but she wanted to know who the lucky girl was.

Sabo's cheeks suddenly flushed pink and he turned his face away in embarrassment. "I-I was just waiting for someone.." He admits.

"Yeah, I know that." She chuckled, rolling her eyes. "I wanna know who."

Again, his cheeks turned a billion shades of pink as he hung his head in a fluster. Whoa, he must be in pretty deep. She thought to herself. "Well whoever it is let me know if I can help out, 'kay?" She gives him a wink.

"Th-Thanks."

*Ace's POV*

It was around 5:30 in the morning and he couldn't go back to sleep. The room was strangely quiet so he got up only to find the other bed empty and blankets neatly folded. Where did Sabo go? Ace frowned.

He got out of bed, pulled on a shirt, and left the room.

The sun was slowly ascending the horizon but the chilly air from last night still lingered around the area. The smell of pine trees made the freckled teen relax and he gave himself a good stretch.

The pink dormitory was on the other side of the forest. Remembering you were currently living there and the fact that both of you didn't have to start classes yet, he decided that it would be a fantastic idea to pop in for a visit.

*Your POV*

You could feel the dawn's light trying to pry your eyes open. Still tired, you turn over and grab on to the pillow beside you. The pillow wasn't plush and soft like it had been last night when you fell asleep. It was strangely hard and muscular, almost human even.

A strange intoxicating yet relaxing scent filled your lungs as you breathe in and nestled your face closer to the warmth radiating from the— Wait a minute...

You quickly snap your eyes open and see skin. Oh. My. Gosh. You rolled out of bed and land on the floor with a loud thud.
