"He threatened her, Stefan" Arabella heard as she walked up to the porch of the Gilbert house

"Well, what would Damon want with Bonnie?" Arabella asked, making herself known

"She has a necklace" Elena told her "Caroline got it from Damon, and she gave it to Bonnie, and now Damon wants it back. He's tormenting her"

"Over a necklace?" Stefan questions

"That seems kinda petty" Arabella mutters, only Stefan heard her, making him give her a look, telling her to shut up

"It's not just any necklace. It has to do with Bonnie's heritage. It belonged to one of her ancestors who lived here durning the Civil war..." Elena trails off as she realises that Arabella, Stefan and Damon lived durning the Civil war "When you two and Damon lived here"

Arabella licked her lips, feeling uncomfortable with the conversation topic "Her name was Emily" she said

She never liked talking about her time when she was a human. It's a time in her life she would rather forget, the only people who mad it bearable were her brothers, and now she's not even talking to one of them

"She was Katherine's handmaiden, and a witch" Stefan continues, also feeling uncomfortable with what they were talking about

"You know? About Bonnie?" Elena asks, surprised

Stefan nodded "The first night when you invited me over for dinner, I made the connection"

"And now Damon knows" Arabella added "and he wants the necklace, and what Damon wants, he gets" she furrowed her brows "That makes him sound like a spoiled toddler"

Stefan rolls hid eyes, feed up with his sister "What does it look like" he asked, moving on

"It's an antique iron setting with a-" Elena describe, before Stefan cuts her off

"-with an amber crystal. It belonged to Katherine" Stefan nods "Emily gave it to her,, which mean that..." he trails off

"What?" Elena asks after a second

"I don't know" he confesses "but I'm gonna find it out. Let us talk to Damon"

Arabella's head snaps toward her brother, she raises her eyebrows "Us? You want me to talk to Damon?"

Stefan nods "Yes" he looks her in the eyes "He's your brother, you can't ignore him forever"

"I can, and I will" she states

Stefan rolls his eyes "You don't have to be nice to him, but you have to talk to him" Arabella doesn't reply, instead she just rolls her eyes

"Will he tell you?" Elena questions

"We'll get it out of him"

"You will get it out of him" Arabella corrects "I will not be talking to him"

Stefan and Arabella enter the grill and see Damon drinking at the bar, Stefan goes to walk up to him but stops once he realises that his twin is walking in the other direction

"Arabella" Stefan grabbed her wrist gently, stopping her from walking away "You can't avoid him forever

"Yes, I can" she tries to yank her wrist out of his grasp, but he doesn't let go

"You are coming with me to talk to him" Stefan tells her, not leaving any room for arguing "You can't avoid him forever and you can't hate him forever, no matter how hard you try you will never hate Damon, you know that"
