It had been a few months since that night in the grill and since then Arabella and James had made their relationship official, much to Damons dismay, they found out Kathrine was never in the tomb after Grams had done a spell to open the tomb, a spell that cost her her life. The tomb vampires got out and kidnapped Stefan, resulting in Pearl making them leave town and Stefan to feed on blood and lose control. Elena's birth mother had come back to town as a vampire and demanded Elena to give her the moon stone. Also all the vampires in town were rounded up and killed, Damon was apart of that but Arabella was able to get him out

Kathrine had also returned to town and Tylers uncle Mason had came back, turns out he was a werwolf and he was with Kathrine, that information alone made Arabella realise what Kathrine was planning, and on top of that, Kathrine turned Caroline

Damon and Arabella worked together to kill Mason, and the gang had found out what the sun and the moon curse was, but Arabella already knew that, she just never told any of them.

They had all agreed on one thing, Kathrine had to die, so they were going to kill her

Kathrine had came to Caroline at the grill and told her to tell the Salvatore's that she wanted the Moon stone tonight at the masquerade ball. That was one thing Arabella would not let happen, absolutely not

"She wants to do it in public. Killing Mason threw her off guard" Stefan stated

"She's running scared. What she did to Jenna was desperate" after Damon told her they killed Mason, she compelled Jenna to stab herself with a knife in relation "She's out of tricks"

"Kathrine is never out of tricks, we can't underestimate her" Arabella told her brother, Klaus had told her the stories about Kathrine, she knows Kathrine is never going to be out of tricks

"Can we just give her the moonstone so she'll leave?" Caroline asked

"No" Arabella shouted "She is not getting that moonstone"

"She's not getting dick" Damon agreed "I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight"

"I'll help" Arabella said

"You're not going to kill her" Stefan told his siblings

"Don't give me that goody-goody crap" Damon complained

"You're not gonna kill her" Stefan repeated

"Really?"

"Because I am" Stefan said, making his sibling smile at him

The door bell rings and Caroline goes to get it, while James walks over to his girlfriend

"Hey, what do I do tonight?" he asked, Damon, Stefan and Arabella were going to kill Kathrine, and the rest were going to get her to the room, but James hadn't been told what he was going to do

"You stay out of the way" she told him coldly

The other night Arabella had told James about her relationship with Elijah, only the basics, that they were together for 50 years and were married at that he left her, and he argued with her, saying that she should've told him sooner

Arabella left and, despite his best efforts, she hadn't talked to him since

"Hey" he grabbed her arm as she went to walk past him "I'm sorry, okay?"

"James let go of me" she stared in his eyes "You had no right, I told you about my past, I haven't even told my brothers about it and you argued with me, I opened up to you, I trusted you, and you broke that trust by victimising yourself when I told you about the thing that broke me" she whisper shouted, not wanting to attract attention to them "I told you about Marcel, I told you what happened that night and you threw it back in my face"
