It's been a while now and they are at the grill and Arabella at Lexi were getting shots and Bella was about the walk back over the Stefan when Lexi pulled her towards Elena who was sitting by herself

"Oh! The famous Elena" Lexi says as they walk up to the girl

"Towel girl" Elena replies

"I've been called worse"

"I believe that" Bella says

Lexi gives her a pretend hurt look "Rude" she looks at Elena and offers her a shot "Here"

She takes it and looks at the pair confused "I didn't know that you guys could drink"

"It helps with the craving" Arabella tells her

"But it also makes for a lot of mushy vamps" Lexi says

Arabella laughs, slightly "Yeah, well that's always fun. Do you remember when we used to get drunk and vamp speed around the city, scaring the shit out of people"

Lexi laughs, as she remembers "Oh, yes, how could I forget?"

Elena laughs at the story "You know, I've never seen Stefan drunk. He always seems so..." she trails off

"Uptight?" Lexi finishes, while Arabella says

"Boring?"

Elena nods "Yeah"

"Wait. He's uptight or boring." the Salvatore girl asks "Which one are you agreeing to?"

"He's uptight"

Arabella nods "right"

"But not with you two" she says

"Well that's the benefit of knowing someone for over a hundred years" Lexi tells her "You can just be yourself"

Elena nod at the vampire in front of her "Yeah, he can't be himself with me"

"That's cause u haven't even known him for a week, Elena" Arabella rolls her eyes and drinks her shot "It's gonna take a little longer than that"

Lexi rolls her eyes at her friend "Be a little nicer, please" Bella doesn't reply as Lexi keeps talking "The first step was him telling you. The rest comes with time"

"You seem so sure"

"The love of my life was human. He went through, what I imagine you're going through: denial, anger, etcetera" Lexi informs "But at the end of the day, love really did conquer all"

Elena nods then look at the Salvatore girl "What about you? You in love?"

Arabella nods with a slight smile on her face as she recalls all the good memories with a certain brunette "Yeah, I was in love" Her smiles fades as she remembers how it ended and how upset she was when it did "But it didn't last" she swallows, as she tries to hold back tries "You know what they say, right? All good things must come to an end" she points to Elena's shot "Are you gonna drink that?"

Elena shakes her head "Go for it"

Arabella takes the drink and drink it, feeling the bitter taste go down her throat "I'm gonna get some air"

The two girls watch as she walks away. When she's gone Elena looks at Lexi "Did I say something to offend her? Because I didn't-" Lexi cut her off

"No, no. She just really loved him, and I think she still does"
