After Elena's little suicide mission the day before, and Stefan being locked in the tomb with Katherine, Damon and Arabella thought it would be best to put Elena on house arrest. Literally

"You should really lock your door" Damon says, walking into the Gilbert house, his sister following behind "Oh, come on, pouty. At least give me two points for ingenuity"

Elena gave him an annoyed looked "Do you think this is funny?"

"Yes Elena. I find hilarity in the length that I have to go to repeatedly save your life" Damon replied

"What does Stefan say about this?" Elena questioned

"We had a good laugh" Arabella spoke "He thought it was for the best"

"And what did he say about Elijah being alive?"

Damon sat down next to Elena while Arabella stayed standing. She was supposed to be babysitting Elena for the day, it sounded boring but all she had to do was lay in the Gilbert house all day and do nothing, who could say no to that?

"Yeah, that... I didn't tell him"

"Why not?" Elena asked, surprised

"Well A: he can't do anything about it; and B:" Arabella took a seat on one of the sofa's as he spoke "what I just said"

Jeremy walked in and sat down with them "Where's Bonnie gone off too?" Arabella asked after not seeing the Bennet witch

"I thought she was meeting you?"

"No" Damon denied "she's no moonstone duty and we're" he gestured between him and Arabella "are on Elena patrol"

"And who's on Tyler Lockwood and the full moon?"

"Caroline's handling it" Arabella said "She has some weird fascination with him"

"Hold on a second" everyone turned their action to Elena "Tonight's a full moon?"

Damon's phone starts ringing "Yep, but you were too absorbed with all your suicidal tendencies to notice" he gets up and answers the phone, Alaric being on the other end "What?"

Arabella shakes her head in fake disgust "No manor's"

"Sheriff Forbes has officially declared Mason Lockwood a missing person" Arabella perks up at the information

"What? Why?" Damon asks

"Some girl from Florida showed up on the Lockwood's door step looking for Mason" Alaric said

Arabella got up and stood beside Damon so that he could hear her as she asked "What girl?"

"I don't know but she sure got everyone in a tizzy"

"That's not good" Damon thought aloud "Where are you?"

"I'm at the grill"

"I'm on my way" He hung up and turned to the siblings in the living room "Change of plans" he looks at his sister "You babysit"

"Wasn't I always going too?" she asks, rhetorically

Jeremy lays down on the sofa as Arabella goes back to the one she was originally sitting on and Jeremy lays his head on Elena's lap

"Hey you know" Damon turns half way to the door "you should get out, enjoy the sun. Oh wait, you can't"

Elena throws a pillow at him that he dodges. Arabella and Jeremy laugh, causing Elena to push him off of her and he rolls onto the floor, making Arabella laugh even more

Just then, Arabella's phone starts ringing. When she looks at the caller id she sees that it's James and walks into a different room before answering

"Hey" she says, a smile bright on her face
