"Your fit to be a princess"- Ada Thorne

The three girls frolicked and bounced around the large field, three billy goats followed behind. "Don't trip or he's going to get you!" The little girl with auburn hair yelled at the other two, "harper the only one going to fall over will be yo-!" The second girl in the line of them fell flat onto her face almost mocking herself.

The other two couldn't help but burst out in a fit of laughter. Pointing and falling to the floor in utter hysterity. The scowl on the girls face was prominent, "oh Lissy don't go crying after all it was you who said I would fall over" harper grinned in satisfaction, knowing full well she had angered her sister even more. Tiny feet pattered over to the eldest girl, as Elizabeth looked up she saw her two year old sister smiling her toothy grin and a hand outstretched. Lissy smiled and sat upright pulling the small girl into her arms, she tickled her furiously to the point the small child's eyes were brimming with tears.

"Stand up!" All three girls heard a gruff shout from their small cottage house, instantly realising it was their father they stood upright and faced him. But as Francis was too young to understand she stayed where she lay "Francis!" Her father yelled before gripping her wrist and yanking her to her feet. The child instantly began to cry "you don't know English girl?! gaeilge salach" his words made her small little lips tremble and gentle hands shake. All her sisters could do was stand and look on.

Stood before her, in all her glory. Harper Mare Hawke. A wide grin on her face, slapped on makeup and a skimpy short dress. There was no way this was anyone else. With height like that it was definitely harper.

Francis was frozen, it had been almost two years since she had last seen Harper. But there she was right infront of her. Before Harper could even react Francis was on her like a dog running at an immeasurable pace. She ran and practically flopped onto the girl infront of her "Francis calm down!" Her sister yelled happily. Both girls stood in a tight embrace both smiling both content. For once in their lives they were genuinely happy.

They pulled away and just stood and stared at eachother for two long moments. "Come on let's go get a drink," Francis grabbed her sisters arm and began dragging her towards the garrison, leaving Harper practically sliding across the floor behind her.

As soon as they reached the garrison harper stopped "Francis it's closed... we can't go in there!" She whisper yelled. In return the girl just laughed and unlocked the garrison doors.

Francis spotted Grace from across the bar and shot her a warm smile "Grace, this is my sister harper." She yanked harper into the room making her trip over her feet, but then she steadied herself.
