Two years ago Thomas Shelby denied leaving the country with Mallory (Francis) and left her alone. So off she went into the great big world.
Six months ago she returned to England as a small time dancer. Choosing to live with her sister instead of the boy she was courting from London.
Three months ago Francis decided to return to the streets of small heath keeping a low profile. That lasted for a week before the one and only Thomas Shelby cornered the girl in the garrison bar and said his piece.
(The start of season two is set three months before the garrison gets blown up. This is purposely done for the storyline)
