"One more time! I feel like we can do this!" Wave encourages as I wrap my hands in some more bandages.
"You said that fifteen attempts ago. My hands aren't made of steel you know?" We've been practicing a special move for just the two of us, but it requires me to catch his foot mid-Grand Fall and then throw him.
"Aw come on, I feel like this is the one!" He's like a puppy, a puppy that could one-shot a Special Class Danger Grimm.
"Ugh," I let out a hefty sigh. "Sure, but this is really the last one!"
"Alright!" He jumps into the air before extending his leg as he falls towards me. "GRAND FALL!!"
I pump some Inergy into my muscles and tap block his leg before quickly turning around and redirecting him away from me.
This is nowhere near what he's been trying to get me to do, but in my defense, I'm not going to survive catching a Grand Fall without Incursio.
Oh yeah, Incursio's been bitchy at me lately so I left him in my locker. Honestly, horrible idea when I've been called out to the forest by a guy with a sword.
"Oh come on, what was that!?" Wave yells.
"I've got nowhere near enough Aura to survive catching one of those right now," which yeah may have been a bit of a lie, but he doesn't have to know that.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Let's wrap up here and go get a snack before heading back to Beacon," Now I feel bad.
"Wait," I pull out my scroll and call my locker. "Let's try this the way you intended."
My locker lands and I quickly put on Incursio.
"Don't expect much," Furry bitch.
'Wasn't going to,' Bitch has the audacity to grumble at me.
"Ready?" Wave asks and I nod. He jumps into the air and gets into position before shouting the move name like some shounen hero. "GRAND FALL!!"
He falls grandly and I grab him before throwing him like a human javelin at a tree that immediately explodes from the force and speed that I threw Wave at.
"Wow, that worked out better than I expected," I immediately retract Incursio before haphazardly tossing him into the locker and sending it back to the school.
"What happened between you two?" Wave looked at me with concern.
"We said some stuff to each other that we both regret."
Narrator.
Flashback.
"So when are you going to tell them?" Incursio asks Y/N who was currently moving toward the almost completely destroyed temple in Emerald Forrest.
"Tell them what? They know about the assassin thing. What else could I be hiding from them that's important enough for them to know?" Y/N asks.
"The fact that you're not Y/N L/N from Mantle, but Mark Oath from a City Without a Name," Incursio says. "They're gonna need to know why you're so strong."
"That can be explained away as simply enhancing my body with Aura," Y/N says. "Ruby does it to swing that massive scythe around."
"Not to the extent that she's able to shatter concrete with a punch," Incursio counters.
"If I were to tell them that would mean that I've been lying to Lubbo and Wave for more than a decade and that I've been lying to my mother for over a decade and a half," Y/N explains. "Which, yeah, I have, but I think I'm going to wait till I'm certain everyone will accept what I tell them."
