Chapter 50: Kill The Danger Beast

I awake in a pile of girls, floating up to get out I look at Blake's empty bed and smile.

Heading into the courtyard after getting dressed, I spot Jaune. I quickly cross the grass, startling him as I feel Inergy being discharged.

"Oh, great," Jaune looks down at me, tch. "I've been trying on my own, but I haven't been able to activate my Tick."

"Really? It's like second nature to me, even when I first got it," I subconsciously activate it again, eyes changing color. "I guess you're not used to it and only did it accidentally that one time. Come on."

Leading Jaune into the nearby woods we find a clearing and I have him sit.

"What're you doing?" He asks.

"Well, since I already know how to activate my Tick, I'm going to put my Inergy into you and activate yours. Just try to remember the path to your eyes," I explained and put my hand on his forehead. "Ready?"

"Uhh, yeah?" Not confident but I can't say who would be given the circumstances.

"Alright," I shrug and then activate my aura, sending Inergy through aura transference and activating Jaune's Tick, flames uncontrollably spewing from him. "That's not good."

Taking my hand off, the flames stop.

"Was that supposed to happen?" no, dumbass.

"No," hmmm... "Mind if I just tell you?"

"Like a command? Is that safe?" should be.

"Should be, since I'm just telling you how to do something my body can already do," though my body also can't do a lot of things I tell people to do. Eh, it'll be fine.

"No, it won't," Ted... "Yo."

"Brando, fuck're you doing here?" Don't give me that look, you smug bastard.

"You came to my wedding, dude," ...true. Alright, whadya want? "Less what I want, more what he needs."

"I'm missing at least a quarter of this conversation," Jaune, the boy that you are.

"He wants to train you, given your similarities," go ahead.

Grey flames flicker off of Ted's body, going from a faint flame to a blaze that covers all three of us.

"He has a Tick too?" Captain Obvious, everyone.

"Ew, why'd you keep that yucky term?" did this fruit just say those words? "Wrong Ted for that. And Quirk's making a comeback. Some idiots call them Meta's given the Metahuman origins, but I don't think either of you are that nerdy."

"Half of the words coming out of your mouth don't make sense," Right, yeah.

"Sorry, this guy just reads thoughts," As much as I hate to agree with you, Ted, you might be right.

"Woohoo!" He pumps his gay little fist. "You've just always been that way, haven't you?"

"Only to annoying guys," I sigh and activate my Tick. "Jaune, you've got all of Ted's knowledge of the Fire Element Tick and how to use it in a way that specifically enhances your fighting style."

"You fucker! I earned that training arc!" Kill yourself a million times over. "That is so mean."

"Woah," Jaune finally comprehends his headache. "Who's Ken Kaneki?"

"I've been hanging around with this new kid. He's almost as nerdy as you," Ted shrugged. "All my current knowledge is on how he uses it and his fighting style is pretty much superior to every living creature, at least here."
