"I hate you," Y/N says to Lubbock who had won the rock paper scissors deciding who stays inside and who sits atop the train on watch.
"Don't hate the player, hate the game, bro," Lubbock laughs at Y/N who flips him the bird as he rises through the roof.
Y/N wraps his tail around his waist and sits on the roof, closing his eyes and spreading his Aura throughout the train and its surroundings.
"Where'd you learn that?" Incursio asks.
"Everyone's favourite nuisance," Y/N smiles.
"You were gone for an hour, how'd he teach you this in just an hour?" Incursio asks.
"I'm a fast learner," Y/N smirks.
"Not to alarm, but a hoard of Grimm is closing in on our location," Oath informs.
Y/N sighs heavily before standing up and concentrating. "Go!" Five clones leap from a pool of Inergy at Y/N's feet.
The clones sprout wings and get into a formation around the train.
"Tether," Y/N commands the clones to tether themselves to him, lines of Inergy connecting them to him.
"Their memories...?" Incursio asks as the information the five clones are collecting appears in Y/N's memories.
"Yeah, since my old clones always had unreliable memories, I came up with this, now I won't need to try to decipher what is and isn't true," Y/N explains with a smile on his face. "It also means that I can control them as easily as if I was controlling my own body,"
He got the idea from an anime. Shocker.
"So, you have full control over what they do, and you can see what they see? These sound like perfect espionage devices," Oath deduces. "Not like you'd need them with your invisibility and your... you."
"Oh, you flatter me too much," Y/N waves him off. "I'm just doing what I did with the Rasengan. I'm using my knowledge from my past life and applying it to my current abilities."
"Right, this does remind me, or well, you, of that Deidara guy's partner," Incursio says. "Sasaki or whatever."
"Sasori, and I am using him as the base, yeah," Y/N corrects. "If I wanted Sasaki, I'd give myself a new organ."
"I assume you'd forgo the cannibalism thing, right?" Incursio asks.
"Well, I have to get the cells from somewhere," Y/N jokes. "Kidding, of course. I'd just make it out of Inergy if it came to it."
"I'm third-wheeling another media conversation, aren't I?" Oath asks.
"Oh yeah, I only allowed you knowledge of movies I'd seen, not the shows I'd watched," Y/N remembers. "Forgot to let you into my rot stage."
Y/N snaps his fingers and Oath goes quiet as he's flooded with Y/N's memories of his lowest stage in life.
"Oh..." Oath looked at Y/N differently from then on. "... how are you so happy?"
"That's the thing, Tatsu, I'm not," Y/N says with a smile on his face.
Later.
"Oi," Y/N sticks his head through the roof. "Let's switch."
Lubbock looks at Y/N, his hair obeying gravity and revealing his forehead, which houses a weird mark in the shape of a diamond.
"What's that on your forehead?" Lubbock asks.
"Excess Aura, now, are we switching or not?" Y/N explains quickly.
"Sure, pull me through," Lubbock reaches his hand out and Y/N pulls him onto the roof as he falls through.
