Huh. I thought we were done with these.

"Not till you're dead and buried, God Killer." It's always lovely to meet you in my head, Not. "Yeah, yeah. These always drag on, and this one's going to be shorter anyway. I just wanted to drop by and wish you a Merry Christmas."

"Happy Holidays," I smile at the teen.

He rolls his eyes before I wake up.

"Look who's finally awake," Ruby smiles at her husband. "Merry Christmas, honey."

"A very Merry Christmas to you," Y/N sits up and kisses one of his wives on the cheek. "Where's everyone else?"

"Well, Blake and Weiss are finishing up on Dinner. Yang and all the oldies are still on their way and Vernal's babysitting with help from Tetsu and Dove. Your assassin friends couldn't come, though they all expressed their desire to go solely to get you plastered, and the Neo-Jeagers sent a care package with all your favorite sweets," she lists off.

"What about Tatsu and Mark?" He heads towards the bathroom.

"Tatsu's loitering around the training ground as usual, and Mark has begrudgingly accepted our invitation and is due to arrive after Yang's group," she leans on the door frame. "This is gonna be our first Christmas without Grimm. I still think it's weird that it took you ten whole years to make it back when all of your God friends can teleport."

"I got back in April, so technically, it was nine years and eight months," he looks away with guilt. "And if I had, that would've counted as me using my semblance. I had a much smarter person do the math, and it would've taken twenty years off my life expectancy."

"And to think you killed one of the Gods who created the world," Ruby rolls her eyes.

"I only bested him in combat. He's still alive," Y/N corrects. "He, Light, and another God are working on another project as we speak."

"Still," she smiles.

"Yeah, I know that I could've," his green eyes let off a slight glow in the dim room as he exits.

"More like should've," Salem huffs, crossing her arms.

"Bitter much?" Ruby smirks. "How can you still be mad about something from so long ago?"

"You have to remember Little Red; this is the same woman who hunted down Oz's reincarnations for hundreds of years after their bad breakup." He rummaged through his closet for a red and green sweater.

"I think simply labeling it a bad breakup is a little reductive. Salem did murder her children after all," Ruby Reminds.

"Everyone always brings up what I did as bad when Ozma was the one trying to turn them against me!" She flailed around. "It's not fair!"

"She's having a Tantrum," he laughs.

"What else is new?" Ruby playfully rolls her eyes as the trio exits the master bedroom.

"Oh, Dad, Mom," A boy with brown hair that turned red at the tips noticed his parents. "Merry Christmas."

"Jasper," Ruby's smile widens at the sight of the Silver-Eyed boy. "I know I ask you this every day, but how are your lessons with Qrow going?"

"I can use a Scythe better than Dad can," the boy smiles at the frown that crosses his father's face.

"It was one time," he whines.

"One time's plenty when mister "I'm The Strongest, Ya know?" stabs his own foot while trying to twirl a Scythe," Ruby laughs at the memory. "It's even better that it's on video."
