A boy with green eyes, black hair, and cat ears atop his head is seen dashing across rooftops as sirens blare in the distance.
Jumping into an alley, he hides behind a dumpster as a pair of police officers run by. 'Tch, couldn't even nab any Dust.'
Entering the sewer system, the boy makes his way far away from the crime scene. Shaking off the smell, he adjusts the brown trenchcoat that belonged to his father before bumping into someone with green hair and lilac-colored eyes.
"Lubbock?" the boy asks, confused as to why he ran into one of his cousins.
"Tetsu?" the green-haired boy was just as confused. "What're you doing behind Junior's?"
"What're you doing at Junior's? Your mom's gonna kill you," he smirked.
"Your mom's gonna torture you if she finds out you're here," He narrows his mother's eyes and crosses his arms.
"Touché..." he rubs his chin. "Mutually assured destruction?"
"Mad," he puts his fist out.
Obliging, Tetsuya takes off. Enormous bird-like wings propel him forward toward his destination, Home.
Landing, he quickly returns the coat and wings to his father's study before grabbing a book and jumping onto his bed right as his mother gets home.
"Tetsuya?" her voice was soothing as much as it scared the boy. He had cut it close, and he knew it as she opened the door to his room. "Oh, so you are here. Get up. Do something. Books are only fun when you have nothing else to do."
Her yellow eyes stared fondly, if only a little annoyed, at her son, whose cat ears twitched as soon as she came in.
"But I don't have anything to do today," he pretends to read the book.
"You're training with your uncle today, aren't you?" she glanced at his calendar. "In... twenty minutes."
"I am?" he looks at his calendar and then at his scroll to confirm.
Jumping out of bed, he dons a pair of slippers. Rushing past his mom, he locks eyes with his sister, Dove. Her red eyes glaring at him as he passes. Waving, he quickly reaches the backyard, where an old Bull Faunus awaits him.
"Gear up; you're already behind schedule," he yawns, cybernetic fingers gleaming as the sun rises.
"Yes, Uncle Adam," he hastily gets his combat gear on, wielding a katana on his hip and a gauntlet on his left hand.
"You're finally ready," he says, grabbing the hilt of his sword, Wilt.
"Yep," he mimicked the action with his weapon, a sword called Panther's Fang.
Drawing, the two clash. Tetsuya is quickly overpowered, performing a back handspring to dodge, but he barely has enough time to block a blood-red wave of Aura that sends him flying into a tree.
"Ga- fuck!" Tetsuya curses in pain as he impacts the tree.
"Dude," a white-haired man looks back at Adam from the other side of the tree.
"Tatsumi? I thought you were away," he sheathed his sword.
"Nah," he smiled. "Hey there, Tetsu."
"D-dad!?" Tetsuya was quick to compose himself. "I didn't know you were back."
"Someone triggered the silent alarm in my study. Got into my Teigu vault," he fixed his hair. "Heard it was you, but I just had to see how well you fought before mysteriously appearing in your room."
