Chapter 28: Kill The Bull

"Adam?" why is he here?

"Tatsumi?" huh, I really haven't seen him in a while.

"Oh, why are you wearing a White Fang mask?" oh no, he's a terrorist.

"Why are you at Beacon? I thought you were in Atlas with Night Raid," he's missed a lot of my character development.

"I got kicked after Bulat died and I tried to blow up Schnee manor," I feel Blake and Yang's surprise grow.

"I joined The Fang after our fight and eventually started my own branch here in Vale," Adam answers.

"Huh..." I begin.

"...neat," Adam finishes.

I draw 'Cursio while Adam draws Wilt.

"Round Two!" we shout as we launch into a heated battle.

I dodge his first strike, before punching him in the ribs, receiving a knee to mine in return.

He swings Wilt and I swing 'Cursio, the two clashing and repelling the other.

"Got an upgrade!?" it's obvious he did, but I want to make sure.

"Why? Thinking of getting one yourself?" Adam shows off Wilt. "It's called a Meihou. Only a handful of master artisans on Menagerie can make them, and an even smaller amount can make them out of Destaghouls."

"Oh, now I want your sword!" I declare as I rush in.

"Come and take it!" Adam returns the favor.

We clash with greater intensity this time, our weapons being flung back from the force and thoroughly embedded into the walls of the, now that I'm looking at it, cafeteria.

"I can kick your ass without a weapon!" We both say confidently.

Narrator.

Adam bullrushes in, going for a heavy punch that Y/N slips and counters with a heavy uppercut to his ribs. "Ack!"

Adam retaliates with a double sledgehammer that Y/N backsteps, going for a front kick that Adam tanks.

'Shit,' Y/N, Incursio, and Oath all think simultaneously.

Y/N receives a heavy blow to the ribs that re-cracks one of his recently healed ribs.

"Cunt!" Y/N yells before gritting his teeth and roundhouse kicking Adam in the ribs.

"Y/N!" Yang yells before throwing Incursio to Y/N who catches it before throwing the blade into the ground.

"Have you no honor woman?" Y/N berates. "This is a fair bout and you want me to use my sword? Shameful!"

Y/N and Adam resume their fight, with Y/N getting more and more re-injured as the fight went on.

"You're slowing down, Tatsu!" Adam yells before punching Y/N across the face, throwing him to the ground where he lay for several seconds before getting back up, albeit, shakily.

"The girl," Y/N spits blood. "Cosmina. Is she one of yours or someone you're working with?"

"Someone I'm working with, why?" Adam asks.

"Keep her away from your pretty men," Y/N advised. "She's an evil freaky creep."

"Evil... freaky... creep... OH! Ew..." Adam realizes what Y/N meant. "I'll try, but if they get caught in the trap themselves it's on them, not me."

"Thanks. I'm gonna pass out now, and if I wake up and I'm missing a kidney, I'm gonna shag your mum," Y/N then promptly passed out.
