Camp Oasis (Focus: River)

River groaned in his office, his wyvern, Blue, watching curiously. It had only been around a week or so since they had started allowing campers inside; already, trouble was brewing.

He rubbed his eyes. First, Kay wouldn't stop acting suspicious about Bryan. Then, Soren needed to be given a cabin, even if he didn't say which pantheon he was in. After that, Magnus went missing and a search party was created. And now, he had to finalize and ensure that everyone in his pantheon would have a place to sleep and that each house was functional...it was overwhelming.
Ras
Blue hopped over to him, its talons clicking harshly on the wood. He@ allowed it to nuzzle his head softly and he reciprocated the gesture.

A knock at his door interrupted the two, startling River. He heaved himself up, blanching when he heard his spine crack. He walked over and opened the door. He looked around and saw no one. Then a small shimmer on the ground.

River grabbed the item, it looked like an arrow, though, the head was shaped crudely like a heart. It was...cute?

'Odd, I thought hearts were pink, or at least red, or something,' he pondered as he looked at the strange coloration inside.

Blue chirped. He looked at it and sighed, slumping into his chair. He placed the arrow onto his desk and went back to planning.

Camp Oasis (Focus: Cal)

Cal watched the Anubis siblings walk in. He smiled lightly at the two and both greeted him as they went up to their room.

He was adjusting slightly well, Mikael being of no help. He met a red child, Ricarro, who was from Mars, and he was apparently a demigod and the only one who didn't know which god or goddess, which was great.

So, at dinner, the demigods congregated, all prepared to have headaches, or be the headaches if they were Ricarro or Solis.

Inpu, at the insistence of Solis, retold Magnus' story. Cal frowned at their arm, now knowing why it was so heavily bandaged.

"Did you at least say thanks to whoever helped you?" he inquired.

Magnus shook their head, "I...didn't."

He hummed, noticing both their discomfort and the glare from Inpu. Putting his hands up in surrender, he sat back. The siblings relaxed slightly but jumped when yet another voice came into the conversation.

"Well," the voice drawled, "why not use that as an excuse to, what, socialize? It would be good exposure for you and our pantheon."

Everyone looked over to Mikael, who was walking over to the entrance, "The other camp counselors and I think that those here right now should be...hm...making an effort, so to speak."

Ricarro and Solis brightened up at the suggestion, Cal shrugged, and the siblings frowned. Mikael simply smiled and bowed, scurrying off to the main camp.

Cal was washing dishes when an odd person walked in. They wore white clothing, though, unlike most campers, they seemed more...modern?

Cal raised a soapy hand in greeting, "Hello there. Are you lost?"

The figure nodded slightly, "Hello. I'm looking for someone and I was hoping maybe they were at this camp. This place happened to be close."

Cal shrugged, "I might be able to help, though, I haven't really met most of the other campers."

The person snagged a bit, "Well, I'm Elio and I'm looking for someone who goes by River? Long blue hair, Chinese demigod?

Cal thought for a bit, "I believe that River is one of the camp counselors here. Though, I've never personally met him, sorry."

Elio brightened, "Oh! So he is here. Thank the gods. Ok. Well, thanks uhhh..."

"Cal. Sorry."

"Thanks Cal. Well, I'll be off, you might want to finish those dishes soon."

With that, Elio was off. Cal looked back down at the dishes, he just needed to rinse them off.

Camp Oasis (Focus: River)

River sighed and stretched. Finally, after a few grueling hours, he was done. Blue had gone back into it's gem, and the sky have taken on a dark, almost black hue.

'Flying duck, it's already midnight. Ugh,' River groggily rubbed his eyes and picked up the arrow again. The tip was still white, but with it now in the dark, it looked to be glowing. He blinked, and realized it was getting brighter. He yelped as it flashed, filling the room.

"Hello River," a femenine voice called out. He squinted up to see a glowing figure, one with no clear shape, however.

"Hello? Do I um, well, know you?" he asked, tilting his head warily.

The figure blinked, "Remember the fountain? The nice dream from a bit ago? I think?"

River frowned, "Maybe? Um...oh! You were that lady!"

She glowed brighter, "Yes! Yes that's me River. I'm sorry I would've introduce myself last time but, well...circumstances."

He nodded. He raised the arrow, "So what is this for?"

She hovered closer, "Well, it's like- I guess it's like a communication device. Like those things called phones. It's so I can reach you wherever, or at least, until I can help you achieve a better outlook on things."

River stared at the arrow. With the lady out of it, it looked like a love arrow, a pink heart instead of white.

"Are you only here to help me or are there others?" he questioned.

She shook her head, probably, "No. You see, River, I'm the embodiment of hope, Elpis. I help anyone I can, anyone who feels helpless. I make them feel as though there are things with living for, worth fighting for."

He nodded,"Um, but may I ask... why me?"

She appeared to be hesitant about answering, but before she could-

A knock.

Elpis squawked and her light went back into the arrow, the arrow turning back to normal. River sat up and fixed his look.

"Come in."

'It's probably a new camper or something,' he tiredly thought.

The person opened the door. River blinked, eyes widening and heart quickening.

"Elio?"

Elio smiled weakly, then collapsed. River gasped, jumping out of his seat and going over to the unconscious man.

He looked at the door, it was still open, he lifted Elio and ran out, screaming for help.

The arrow pulsed, almost smugly, "There we go."
