Camp Oasis (Focus: Elio)
Elio woke with a start. He looked around. Alert. Yet, when he tried to get up, his limbs failed him, and he collapsed. On the floor. Lovely.
A warbling noise spooked him. He looked over, it was River's pet wyvern. He sighed and motioned for it to come close. It did and he patted its muzzle.
"Hi Blue," he whispered. It trilled back.
Camp Oasis (Focus: Kay)
It was the afternoon, and both she and River stood on the central stage in the speech-and-meet building (she was sure it was supposed to be a ballroom but that would be in bad taste).
Most campers invited seemed to be there. She saw basically all of the Greek Pantheon and waved to her boyfriend. She looked at the Egyptian one and nodded at Mikael. Finally, she looked at the Asian Pantheon,
They were all congregated and in the corner of her eye, she noticed River walking over and clearing his throat.
"ATTENTION CAMPERS!" he yelled. The crowd quieted.
Kay walked up to the microphone, "Hello campers, and welcome to Camp Oasis. We hope that you were all able to arrive safely. For those of you who don't know, we have the Greek, Asian, Egyptian, and Polynesian Pantheons. Additionally, each Pantheon has a camp counselor: me, River, Austin, and Mikael. If you ever need help, please go to one of us."
Mikael walked up onto the stage, Kay moving out of the way for him, "Hello. I'm Mikael. I'm the Egyptian counselor. I just wanted to say that while we are all here," he glanced at his pantheon (read: Magnus), "we will not be condoning any sort of harm towards another camper unless it is absolutely necessary or if we are holding a competition."
Kay coughed. Mikael gave her a questioning look but shrugged and went back down. Polite clapping ensued.
River went back up to the microphone, "Ah, also, campers. On Monday, we will begin our Camp Trials. As of now, it is uh, Thursday? So, that means you all have a few days to find a cabin, get to know each other and get used to the camp."
Kay took the spot again, "And with that, we hope you enjoy yourselves here. Have fun!"
Everyone clapped, some with much gusto, others out of necessity.
Camp Oasis (Focus: Inpu)
Inpu (and Magnus) observed the other campers, noting how diverse the other demigods were, both in style and character. He watched as Ricarro jumped around and introduced himself to some of the Asian Pantheon, specifically, a fox lady.
"What do you think of them Magnus?" he asked, looking at them.
They grunted distractedly. He followed their gaze to another group.
He looked back at them, "What?" They squinted and began to walk to the group.
Inpu looked worriedly at his sibling, 'They've almost never done this, so why...?'
He looked over at the group, who were just over a hedge he and his sibling were crouched behind. He peaked over to see a few of the Egyptian campers, most of the Greek campers, and the Asian counselor. Interestingly enough, he noticed that while this group made a circle, all the attention seemed to be on one of the Greek campers.
