A/N - Thank you for 100+ views. Also, I will try my best to stick to parts of the canon. I can't really remember everyone, but I do try to watch as many people as I can.

Camp Oasis (Focus: Counselor Kay)

Kay woke to the unfortunate sun in her eyes. She groaned, not willing to get up. As a camp counselor, Kay had to prepare all the invitations for the new and old campers. Though some people refused or couldn't come back to camp, her hands were very much full.

She groaned again and slithered off her bed. It had taken her quite some time to get accustomed to staying at the camp without the other campers and the large expansion didn't help the feeling of loneliness. Yes, she did enjoy the feeling of seclusion to some extent, especially after last year's...incident.

Kay shook her head, now was not the time to think about the bad things, not yet. She still had some work left to do.

Instead of staying in her large cabin, Kay decided that she wanted to spend her morning in the other parts of camp. Plus, she had gotten used to preparing her meals in the mess hall.

Making sure she looked decent, Kay made her way down to the ground floor of her cabin. It was a pleasant day, with a nice breeze and bustling wildlife.

A little slither later, Kay found her way to the mess hall. Though she was only there to make her breakfast, she couldn't help but do a quick inspection of the place.

The tables were replaced, chandeliers were dusted, benches were repaired, windows cleaned, and the room had been inspected. No one really knew whether or not there were still things left behind from last year.

Kay shuddered at the thought. The shenanigans were not to be taken lightly.

'I mean....it's not like last year can repeat itself though....right?', she thought to herself, 'I really hope not...'

Sighing with a suddenly deflated mood, Kay practically scooted her way to the kitchen area. A simple breakfast of eggs...and only eggs...scrambled and a few grabbed bottles of tomb juice later, Kay was ready to continue her work.

She went back outside and began her camp checkup.

'Cafeteria, check.'

'Recreational hall...all well and accounted for...room boarded up too.'

'Stables are all tidied and ready for use.'

'Greek cabins are all ready and named.'

'The Asian camp is ready...Egyptian too.'

Kay sighed in relief as she noticed all the main parts in camp were ready for use. Looking around, she noticed that it was still not time yet to retire. It was around lunch, so Kay decided to take a break. The last thing she needed to do was check her infirmary.

Her little lunch break gave her enough willpower to go out and collect some missing herbs.

'But I might need to venture outside of the camp,' Kay thought to herself, 'But...Bryan's not a threat and things have been...decent so far. Might as well go and have a little bit of an adventure.'

Her adventure led her to a small forest. It was a decent walk away from Camp Oasis, but she was able to find many useful ingredients for her potions and there was enough for a few weeks if needed.

Going a little deeper, Kay felt as though there was something...wrong. looking around, she didn't see anything suspicious.

'What if they're in the trees? It's a little hard to see anything...'

Kay hurried out of the denser areas and ran to the sound of nearby water. Switching to her more humanoid form, Kay almost didn't realize she was almost in a clearing. When she did notice, she noticed a body.

Slowing down to a walk, Kay carefully made her way toward the person. From the looks of them, they were definitely unconscious.

Kay looked around cautiously and then flipped the person over. Apparently they a guy, one that most definitely didn't look like someone of the Greek Realm. Mindful of any sort of injuries (and the weird...crown...circlet thingy), Kay carried the stranger back to her infirmary.

Other than a little bit of groaning and shifting, Kay's travel back to camp went smoothly. She laid the stranger on her corner infirmary bed. A little bit of better poking, a cool forehead cloth, and some closer examinations led to her concluding he must've gotten swept up in some sort of water current and was dragged to camp.

'Maybe he was trying to get to camp? But why would he- What was that?'

Kay swiftly turned around, hearing some sort of disturbance. She stopped focusing on her patient and went to investigate.

Arming herself, Kay crept towards the door, ready to strike.

'What..or who could or be? Another newcomer?  Or someone worse?'

The door handle was grabbed and Kay got into an offensive stance.

'I can't exactly fight in here, but it's too late for that...'

The door opened and Kay's eyes widened...

"Mario," she exclaimed, "What're you doing here? You scared me!"

Mario winced a little but still held out a rose of sorts.

"I wanted to surprise you back at your cabin but when I found out that you weren't there, I just assumed that you'd be in here and..I really didn't mean to scare you. I also had plans for the two of us and-."

"That's fine Mario," Kay sighed and relaxed,  "but I do have a patient at the moment, so maybe we can hang out later, ok? "

Mario visibly deflated slightly but understood.

"That's fine...um, "he looked at the bed, "who's the new guy? "

"I don't really know yet but I think he's a new camper."

"Where'd you find him? "

"By a river."

"Huh? So...like a fish?"

Kay gave Mario a dead look. He chuckled and gave her a hug.

"Guess I'll leave you to it. See you around Kay."

Kay smiled and waved after him, "Sure thing Mario."
