I was just leaving my house to go to this dinner said I have to be at it's a contract between my company and the knights company

I arrive at a house the looks amazing

I saw my father and brother exiting the car and I walked up to them "father, Elliot" I greeted both of them "Let's go inside Ezra is waiting for us" my father said

We entered and a old man entered the room "Cole it's great to see you again!" I believe his name is Ezra said "Which one is Xavier" he said "Ezra meet my sons Elliot and Xavier" we both nodded

Soon came a boy that looked like around a year younger then me "Hello I'm Zed it's nice to meet you" he held out his hand and me and my brother shakes it soon

We all chatted for a bit then a very gorgeous girl came running downstairs while putting on shoes

Ezras eyes widened and while the girl yelled "I'll be back in 30" I tilted my head to the side and raised a brow "No your not" he yelled "yes I am" Lauren yelled "if you step out that door the company is not yours" he yelled "Fine then I don't want it my friends need me!" She yelled and left

Me and my brother were shocked while my father just chuckled "thank you for the warning Ezra" my father said "What warning" I asked "I told your father that my daughter is very... let's just say is stubborn" he said

We chatted some more then the door opened and slammed shut we all jumped up but saw Lauren coming in all dirty and wet her father was raging mad

"Lauren go change" he yelled she went up and went to change "I'm so sorry about this" he apologized we Just nodded

Lauren came downstairs looking a million times better then she did before

"Sorry about that" Lauren said "it's not problem" my father said "Come let's all eat" Lauren said putting on a smile and

We all sat down to eat and I loved the food there maids must be really skilled "The food was delicious" my father said "Glad you enjoyed it Lauren made it herself"

Lauren just put on a fake smile that probably means she didn't make it

"Alright so me and Cole have decided we would bring our companies together" we all just nodded "In order to that there will be a contract" my father said what does he mean by contract

"A marriage contract" Ezra finished and everyone dropped there forks "Between Lauren the heir of my company and Xavier the heir of your dads company" Ezra said again and Lauren burst

"What do you mean marriage dad I'm only 20!" She yelled. Damn only 20 she looks 17 if you ask me how tall is she I would say probably around 5"6 I'm 6"3 so she's short compared to me

I got cut of my thinking when I heard Lauren say "No and you can't make me!" I looked up to see s very upset Lauren and she was crying all the makeup was falling from her face "Lauren-" he father tried to speak but she cut him off

"I don't want to hear it!" Lauren yelled "I was just saying your makeup got ruined" he father said we turned to look at Lauren and she scoffed
"You think I care about my makeup! Leave me alone" she yelled about to run but her brother grabbed her arm and whispered something in her ear so she came back and sighted the papers and left

I was shocked but I didn't want to marry her "Xavier don't even think about it or the company will be for Elliot in a matter of seconds" my father said I quickly signed it

"Why! Why did my dad just let me go like that like I meant nothing" I sobbed to myself while my best friend Sophia was comforting me "I'm so sorry lauren" she said while crying

A while later we calmed down and she had to go home

I went downstairs and saw everyone left I sighed and went to the kitchen

I thought about how my dad lied and said I knew how to cook and he also expected me to just go along with the contract

Why me though? Why?

"Hey little sis" Zed said as he ruffled my hair I smacked his hand away and glared at him "Don't touch me and don't even think about calling me little sis!" I yelled "I'm sorry okay dad was going to kill me" he apologized "I'm sorry" I mocked him "shut the fuck up and fuck off" I said to him as I walked away
