Shopping....

Today me, Xavier and Val are going grocery shopping

I made a list of what we needed

1.milk.                                                                                         2. Bread.                                                                                   3.pasta.                                                                                       4. Soup

I know my list is boring but still

I looked over my list and realized we forgot ICE CREAM!

"Xavier you forgot to put ice cream on the list!" I yelled at him "Baby your ice cream addiction is unhealthy" he said shaking his head "You think I care I'm carrying your child don't make me mad" I said starting to fake cry Xaviers face turned into worry

"Baby please don't cry I added ice cream to the list let's go get yeah?" He said hopefully and I smiled and nodded "Come on Val we're leaving" she said

Once we arrived at the store we went to look for the ice cream because I wanted to and Val said that I couldn't live without it...

Well she has a point

"Lauren can we please get candy" Val begged "Val I don't know it's not that healthy" I said I know I have been eating a lot of ice cream it's only because I'm craving it though and I want Val to be healthy "Please" she kept on begging "Fine we can get just one candy" I said and she smiled

"Xavier I'm going with Val to get candy wait right here" I told Xavier and he nodded looking for the bread

"Okay pick one" I said to Val and she went through the candy

Suddenly I felt a cold metal being against the side of my head I turned around to see a man with a gun pointing it at me!

"Hello again Lauren"he said smirking

Wait this isn't any man this is the man that tried to rape me at a bar when I was 17

"Lauren!" Val shouted "Val-"I tried saying but I got cut off by the man grabbing val and putting the gun against her chest "If you move she dies" he said pressing the gun harder against her

"LAUREN, VAL" Xavier yelled "I wouldn't move if I were you Lauren" he said smirking

I was scared I had a child inside of me and I love val to much

What do I do

"Look let her go she did nothing wrong" I said "Please" I begged

"Hmmm I don't think so" he said "You know after you ran away the guy that sent me to do that to you killed my wife" he said "Know you get to watch your daughter die in front of you like I had to do to my wife" he said and pulled the trigger

I screamed "VAL" I sobbed "your a monster" I said sobbing

The police showed up and he ran away and I dropped to val "Baby please wake up" I begged holding her in my arms "Please baby I can't live without you"

"Val my baby" Xavier said his eyes tearing up "Xavier I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything" I said crying harder "Val please" I begged crying harder

"We need to get to a hospital fast" I told him and he picked up Val and got into the car and drove off Without me

It's okay I'll walk I told myself

And began walking to nearest hospital

My hand clung to my stomach I was in so much pain I don't why though

I got the hospital about thirsty minutes later "I'm looking for Valentina Russo" I said and she just stared at me and laughed "What's so funny" I asked "Your looking for the daughter of highest CEO in town" she said "Yeah I know" I said confused "Look I'm sorry but she probably doesn't even know you" she said and shrugged

I was fuming "LISTEN HERE BITCH GIVE ME THE GOD DAMN ROOM NUMBER BEFORE I DO SOMETHING I MIGHT REGRET!" I yelled at her and she gave me the room number

I walked to the room to see Xavier outside sitting with his head in his hands "Xavier, is she okay" I asked getting teary "There doing a surgery to get the bullet out and I'm sorry for leaving you to walk" he said looking guilty "This isn't about me we have to worry about Val not me" I said this isn't about me it's Val we're talking about

The doctor came out a couple hours later and me and Xavier went to go talk to him "So we took out the bullet successfully but she fell into a coma" he said looking down "We don't know when she will wake up or if she will wake up" he said "I'm so sorry" he said "You could go see her if you want" he said opening the door

I rushed over to her side and grabbed her hand "Val I'm so sorry I could've protect you, I love you so much I know you can hear me right know so I want you to know that I see you as my daughter alright and I love you more than anything in this world" I said sobbing "When you wake up you don't have to forgive me for letting you down but if you do its unforgivable please wake up soon my love" I finished and kissed her forehead

I looked up at Xavier with read puffy eyes and he tears in his eyes he took my hand and hugged me tight "Lauren...." He said sobbing "I love her so much what am I gonna do without her" he sobbed "It's okay we will figure it out and she will wake up I promise" I said hugging him tighter

He sobbed in my hair and I hugged him letting him let it all out

Everything will be alright, Val will wake up shes strong like her father
