I got out of my car and ran to the hospital

"WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER!" I yelled at the receptionist

"Name please" she gulped "Valentina Russo Now hurry the fuck up!" I yelled

She suddenly stopped and burst out laughing

What's so funny!

"What?!" I yelled at her "You expect me to believe your the mother of Valentina Russo the daughter of Xavier Russo you're very funny" she said as she laughed

How dare she

"Listen to me I don't have time for your bullshit what is the fucking room number" I said angrily

"I can't share that information miss" she said while looking me up and down "You clearly are not her mother" she said

This bitch

I was about to say something when "She's my wife and Valentina is her daughter now what the fuck is her room number and I suggest you speak quick before you get fired" a voice behind me said

The ladies eyed widened "Room 304 mrs Russo" the lady said looking down

( a/n she doesn't know the room number because she got permitted to a different room and also I know there is another scene like this in another chapter but this girl is different)

I went to the elevator and pressed the button waiting impatiently

I ran to the room and opened the door to see a Val sitting up on her bed with soup in her hands she looked at me confused and said

"Who are you"

Xavier

"Who are you"

The first words that came out of my daughters mouth are who are you to Lauren

She loves Lauren how can she forget her

"Val , sweetheart it's Lauren you don't remember me?" Lauren asked lowly while her voice is shaking

"I'm sorry wheres my mom because I don't think your her" she said titling her head to the side

"You don't remember! You don't remember that I'm giving you a sibling! You don't remember that I take care of you" Lauren sobbed

Val just shook her head and turned to me "Daddy!" She squealed "Princess" I said hugging her

"Lauren come here" I said to Lauren that was wiping her tears "What?" She asked

"Baby don't worry she will remember soon remember she just woke up" I whispered to her and she nodded and hugged me

"Val please remember me , please" Lauren begged

Val looked confused

My poor baby

30 minutes later

"Daddy where's mommy?" Val asked I looked at Lauren who was sleeping against my shoulder I smiled

"She's right here Princess" I said and her eyes went wide "Her?" She asked shocked and I nodded

"She doesn't look like me though" Val said "I know she doesn't" I said "Then how is she my mommy?" She asked looking very confused

"Well, me and Lauren we're gonna get married ,but she didn't know about you so when she moved in she saw you and asked who you were so I told her that you were my kid she looked at you with so much love she cared for you like you were her own and also you loved her with all your heart. You and her would always sit in the kitchen and bake cookies and cake" I said remembering the memories and smiling

They were my favorite memories

"Lauren would also be there for you whenever you needed someone like if you hurt your knee or needed someone to play with she was always there ,but one day we went shopping and a man came up to Lauren with a gun Lauren tried to stop him but he shot you she cried for days and couldn't sleep at knight but also Lauren was also pregnant so basically your having a sibling" I explained to her

"That's why you need to remember her" I finished and she looked down trying to process things
