▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃SOMEHOW THIS LINE of work involves personal feelings at times. You wonder if it's like that for most professions, if sometimes emotions simply win people over during the spur of the moment. There're random thoughts that flurry to your head because of yesterday, thanks to that huge redhead gambler.
"At the end, Rinne was not in the wrong." You don't see why the course of public speaking practices found it appropriate to discuss what had happened in Cospro's late morning. "But an apology was sent from the bottom of our hearts...and everything's been resolved."
Tsumugi stands at the podium next to you, the fresh conditioning of the recording studio only offering gentle pressure. "I hope the other idol also sent an apology to you guys." Tsumugi pushes his glasses up with a finger as he tilts his head at you slightly, "He did, right? What he said about you was...weird."
"It doesn't excuse Amagi for making fun of his hard work." Fukui clears her throat.
"But... the newbie idol called me a trouble-magnet whore." Once you said that warily, the other participants in front gasped and were taken aback. Obviously you had told about the part where that newbie idol picked a fight to prove himself worthy to his greedy superiors, but in the end, it had ended with him tearing up with a cocky , smug Rinne.
"Well, everything was okay before you and Lilic appeared..." Fukui whispered. Tsumugi doesn't look at her, but he straightens up and clasps a hand over his mouth softly with a noise of disbelief. You're losing patience with this girl now,
"What was tha—?"
"Two wrongs don't make a right." The woman next to Fukui says, "You should be more mean and strict, L/n." Okazaki, a twenty something year old woman who works for Cospro as well, tall and black haired. You met bet briefly during your first meeting in that agency, and never truly spoke to one another. So you tell yourself you shouldn't be too offended that Fukui gave her Hirata's executive position in this course.
"I'm not going to scold Rinne for standing up for m—"
"Crazy:B's immature." Okazaki put up a hand, stopping you from raising your voice, "No offense, F/n, but it's never too late to put in the opt-out notice for those guys. There will always be next ti—"
"Should you be talking, Okazaki? Your units don't even have the basic qualifications for the remnants of scintillations." You cut her off. You don't sound proud, there's no sign of enmity either, just disappointment...and Tsumugi considers that amazing on your part. "Do they even know about your proposal that went to the trash because it violated—"
