➽ MAGICAL ARCHIVE ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
RA*BITS' PERFORMANCE wasdelivered animatedly, pulled right from a cosmo realm of nature and cutesy ribbons. You're saddened that you could not be there to watch them sing and dance. Even so, there's a huge problem at hand. This highly strung dilemma is leeching onto the small headache of yours, the nervousness is slowly picking at your patience.
When you entered the room Natsume called you and your friends in, far away from the main stage. It's beige carpet covered most of the oak patterned hardwood flooring, and burgundy sofas with a coffee table in front. It's essentially one of the smaller lounges for staff to have their breaks.
You're already devastated to see Natsume's magical book opened to a page of portals— mirrors and lakes drawn with watercolors. "Hey, Sakasaki." You manage to greet.
"This is it?" Dean asks as he enters the carpeted room first after you and Sunniva.
Natsume eyes you for a moment before settling his sharp gaze on the boy next to you. In an instant, recognition laces his judgement. "You...." He sees the boy you were with in his vision, he knows it's him.
"Me?" Dean points at himself confusedly before looking at you.
The entirety of this is disturbing. Sunniva beside you glanced at you at like there was something eery behind you, — a first rate 'he knows, doesn't he?' type of look washes through her expression. There's faint dread in your eyes as Natsume composed himself, lowering his gaze.
"Forget it." He waves a hand dismissively before gesturing at the sofa across from him, "Sit."
Dean tried to brush it off, but these faces exchanged between him, you, and Sunniva intercepted the stability of the secret. He knows not to question it, but Natsume's the real deal. The fright of being discovered is too dire.
"This is the only magical archive book I could FIND. Your friend told me about the darkest topics, I was a bit concerned for you, producer." Natsume's tone changed. It wasn't its usually unusual tone, it merged quite vehemently.
"It was a rare book, but with your genius knowledge of magic, I'm sure finding that would have been...easy for you?" Sunniva cringed at herself faintly at the end of her half assed praise.
"And...did you find anything on witches turned berserk?" You swallowed.
Natsume analyzed your expression. You're readable unlike some other people, and he couldn't bring himself to judge you now. One of the few girls he likes being around, he secretly approved of the way you treat Switch, and never consider any mistakes troublesome. His last producer would have kicked him if she ever heard him say something like that, for her own selfish reasons. That's why he respects your humility.
