WEEKS HAVE PASSED since the incident in the forest, the mourning periods have yet to perish, but lately, the early fall's coziness had somehow blessed an opportunity for your brother to find his way to be closer to your world.
A modeling agency connected to New dimension has offered kids' opportunities to explore a modeling project for a newly launched campaign for a clothing brand catered to children, and to your surprise (and discomfort), Vinny had come to you with its marketing magazine, pleading you to get him a spot in this campaign.
"So...he just wanted to participate in this because he thought the clothes were cool...?" Ritsu asks, an eyebrow raised for a moment, "Little guy knows his interests, heh."
"It's a good thing he has us to prepare him for the photoshoot," Izumi boasts next to you, "he's going to shine bright today, I know it."
You're still nervous about the whole thing, to let your little brother out into the modeling world for the first time, and as you all reached to Time street, your hold on Vinny's hand tightens slightly. "I'm lucky for my big brothers!" He laughs, grinning at Izumi and Ritsu.
"And they're gonna be lucky to have you on today." Izumi chuckles, arms folded as the three of you come to a stop. "How are you feeling now?" You kneel down, now placing your hands on your brother's shoulders. His cute baby blue and ivory uniform and tie styled cutely, (h/c) bangs softly slicked back, and his (e/c) eyes have that sheen you have now accustomed to.
"It feels scary at first, but Izumi, Arashi, and Ritsu taught me a lot, so I think it's gonna be cool!" Vinny huffs determinedly, "I'm ready, really ready...! A-And this is me growing up now, so please don't cry, okay?"
"But remember it's okay, you can take your time. It's not good for you to stress out." You smile lightheartedly.
"I know that already!"
You could almost tear up on how he's preparing himself for this job, this life even, but you'd support him and be there to hold his hand if you must. "Stay close to Arashi, Anzu, and Leo." You stand back up, guiding him to the said people in the distance, where the set-up has been done.
"He'll learn, he's the bright kid, is he not?" Izumi hums, watching Vinny run off to Arashi, Anzu, and Leo—
"Oh, look at you." Arashi cups her cheeks, beaming at the adorable look your brother has on. The girls giggle at the spin your brother does, and though you absolutely adore the love he's getting, it doesn't stop you from worrying at some point. Leo's the one leading them in the empty and reserved family cafe, getting away from all the noise.
