▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ HAPPY ENDING:
FOR SOME IDOLS, to find love is a dream to them. That applies for producers as well. The two sides couldn't focus clearly with that in mind, but sometimes acting upon it could turn out to be the right call. This is what you learned when Nagisa had come up to you with Hiyori and Jun tailing behind him in Cosmic productions two weeks after your comeback to work .
"Our latest projects aren't as big as our last jobs, but Ibara's never one to reject any challenge to flourish our path." Nagisa told you, "It was a surprise when we were given a plan to participate in a grand event this time."
"So, you're taking this business trip then?" The busy producers click away at the rows of computers and chit chat fly on, that you're awfully grateful that the attention that you had earned after your incident has finally dimmed for you to finally have a proper conversation with the members of Eden, one of the powerhouses of Ensemble square.
"... Most likely." Nagisa received a side eye from Jun but he paid no mind to it. Hiyori either, given that he was impatient for your reaction on this. He unsurprisingly has the courage to say, "Is it strange? Considering Ibara was the one who wanted to pick you up from the hospital only for him to leave out of nowhere—"
"What Ohii-san means to say, or more like ask, if you know what's up with him?" Jun earns a pout from Hiyori, "He seemed a bit distracted lately ever since he received the huge proposal last week."
"Woah, well...I haven't gotten the chance to talk to him since I got back to work..." You answer, "Why? Is something wrong? Does the business trip have him so nerved?"
Your worry is left unanswered by the uncertain look on Jun's face and the sigh that expels past Hiyori, lamentably as he folds his arms. "Ran?" You urge.
Nagisa extended his closed hand out, silently signaling for you to extend yours. When you did, he dropped a familiar bracelet onto your palm. The black onyx charm laid there brilliantly in the shining light of the agency. You didn't understand why Nagisa had it instead of Ibara— unless it didn't belong to Ibara.
"You see, he says he's unworthy to wear it."
There was your answer. You gaped, glancing up at Nagisa with amusement. You aren't that taken aback at Ibara pulling this act, but you're startled when Hiyori casually wrapped his arms around your shoulders in a loose fashion from behind. "It's a coward move on Ibara's part, isn't it?" He coed, cheek ghosting over your head. Your breath hitched as he snuggled in closer. "That's why—"
"Hiyori." Nagisa narrowed his eyes. Jun facepalmed as Hiyori puckered his lips comically. He defeatedly let go of you with a sigh. "Fine, I'll stop."
"Haa...seriously..." narrowly displeased with everything, your hand palmed the back of your nape awkwardly, "I had a feeling Ibara was feeling that way. I knew I should have checked up on him."
