IT'S ALREADY PAST nine pm in the early autumn's palace. Ensemble square is prone to overtimes, but in rare instances, a few agencies can be found vacant after an incident of a huge launch.
StarPro is one blessed with the placidity first, and Alkaloid found it suitable to check up on you when you finish your work for today. That gave more than enough room to check up on you.
"Your mom came back from her stay at her sister's place early today, right? Did something happen?" Aira asked, sitting across from you in one of the long tables in the bright agency. Tatsumi sat next to him whilst the Hiiro and Mayoi sat on your side.
"The meditation she went through over there helped her a lot." You smile, and even think of mentioning how Vinny played a lot with his cousin, yet the memory of what your mother relayed to you this morning paused the entire hope of your world.
"L/n?" Tatsumi hums, "Is something wrong?"
You face Alkaloid, unsure on how to properly word the situation since a final decision was not settled yet. "Actually.. she said there's an available apartment in the same complex my aunt lives in, and that she'll most likely take it for us. I don't know how Vinny will take that..."
"That means.. you're moving?" Tatsumi almost gasps and he can even feel his heart sinking at the mere possibility. Mayoi bit the inner corner of his lip, warily but curiously eying Tatsumi from across the table, his gloved hands clutching to his lip.
"What about work?" Hiiro asks.
"Yeah, didn't you say your aunt lives on the other side of the city?" Aira raised a brow. You grow a tad awkward at the stares you're getting from these guys. "I can make it work.. maybe." You respond, "I mean.. the commute is like two hours, ugh. Is that really bad?"
"F/n..." Tatsumi frowns, and even if he isn't liking how he feels, he wants to focus on you more, "How are you feeling about this?"
"I feel like she's rushing this." You sigh, nails picking for a moment, "I can't tell if this is what she really wants to do, since she really loves this place. She can't hide how jittery she is when it comes to leaving this place behind."
"It sounds tough, but we know you can help her. You helped us loads of time, so we know you have a way of lending a hand." Aira giggles.
"Yes, if there's anyone who can help her, it's you." Mayoi smiles faintly at you.
"You can also count on us for anything." Hiiro adds. You wish for Tatsumi to say something too, but he seems preoccupied in some notion, and in the meantime, you smile gratefully at the rest. "Thanks for hearing me out. Now tell me, how was everyone else's day?"
