CHAPTER 5: New Bonds

I've never been to an engagement party before but one thing I do know is that they will be lots of food.

Princess Orla greeted everyone and smiled to all those that congratulated her. She later meet Sir Micheal and she had to say he was one fine looking man.

From his broad shoulders to his perfect jawline , he was ever girls dream man.

They started engaging in small conversations and Orla had to admit ,he was very fun to be with
"So you mean to tell me you skaled mansion buildings when you were little" Orla asked shocked.

"Yeah I know how reckless of me"

"But pretty cool too"

"Oh so my princess thinks I'm cool , I'm flattered"

Orla blushed a little at his comment and thought he wasn't so bad after all.

Not long after the doors flew open and in came Edena ,with her wearing a high thigh,off shoulder black satin gown.

She looked absolutely majestic and sexy but she wasn't wearing the gown to gain attention of any sort. It was just her style.

She strode towards her sister to greet her , that's when she sighted Sir Micheal next to Orla. She decided to ignore it and continue onwards.

"O my winters breeze Edena you look breathtaking"

"Orla I'm nothing compared to you,your just looking simply gorgeous this evening" and Edena meant it.

Orla was wearing a baby blue floral gown with intrigue patterns imbedded on it. Her hair was also let down and was adorned with beautiful baby breaths . Infact her entire look was just cute.

"Ting,Ting,Ting" The King rang his glass to signal everyone's attention

"I'm so glad for this beautiful day of celebration,we are all here celebrating the new bonds our kingdom will form,the strengths we will gain and the beliefs we will share.

"Also I am so happy for my dearest little girl ,who has found love and her rightful place as heir and future Queen to the throne has now been bestowed upon her".

Everyone cheered him on and even toasted with him .

The Queen was making her way towards her daughters that when Sir Micheal decided to kiss Orla out of excitement .Even the Queen was stunned in her tracks .

But the look on Orla's face was just priceless.

"Wow you are so beautiful my dear, I can't wait for us to get married" .

"I...wou..ld" before Orla could reply back . A huge blast occured that almost made her go flying straight into a wall if not for Sir Micheal who held her firmly.

When everyone had regained momentum ,they turn to see Edena who's entire appearance had changed.

Her eyes had turned it into deep glowing green color and she had sprouted out dragon like wings from her back.

"What's the meaning of this sister" Orla said to her sister. If she said she wasn't scared then she would have been lying .

This new formed that her sister took was something that she has never witnessed with her before.

"This Orla my dear is my retailation ,for far to long I have been quite why everything I loved had been taken away from me" .

"I have been constantly hated on because of who I am. Gifted to two unloving and undeserving parents" Edena spat out angrily.

"Edena please calm down..." She was cut short.

"Why should I listen to you when all my pleas go on deaf ears" .

Edena was almost on the verge on crying,she didn't want things to go this far but she was just too angry. Angry with the way people treated her, angry with her father for his hate towards her,with her mother for her ignorance,with her people for their lack of trust in her and with Orla got taking the one she loved.

She just got so mad when they kissed and lost control resulting in the situation she was now in.

"Insolent child" The King roared and blasted Edena with his magic,thereby making her to fall down and her wings to disappear.

Blood also started tickling down from her head because of the impact.

"Your a disgrace to me ,a failure ,a monster and now you have caused this family great shame. I hereby banish you from this kingdom due to treason.

Everyone gasped and the Kings degree. Some believed she deserved it while some pited her.

Orla started crying and begging her father to revoke his order but he didn't listen.

The Queen also started crying furiously to let her daughter go .

Meanwhile Edena was being dragged out of the the palace and was now thrown outside the gates. She was left with nothing and knew no one.

She looked behind her and saw a vast empty land . From that moment she knew she will never remain the same again.

😭My poor Edena why you,well this is just the beginning.
